Dr Disrespect is back again in the Vainglory way, but this time it sure comes on with crazy challenges that will drive your head into a dizzying whirl: Shotguns only? No plates? 480p black and white? This ride is going to be quite insane.

Before the stream began, The Doc felt obliged to give the whole world quite the classic statement on Twitter in his typical dramatic fashion: “Bloody nose already drippin and I ain’t cleaning it up…” Of course, he did. Never does the man half measures when it comes to something like this. The challenge goes something like: Shotguns only to win; No plates to win; 480p Black and White to win. That sounds dangerously maniacal.

Let’s break it all down since the difficulty presented through these challenges is also borderline masochistic. First, shotguns only: Warzone is not known to be very shotgun-friendly, especially across long distances. Then comes the no plates, which is basically giving a request to be destroyed in every gunfight. And 480p black-and-white? Try spotting enemies when the screen looks like some gritty 90’s horror movie!

The community’s reaction was, of course, expectedly mixed. Some players were excited by it; @CasuallClaire called Doc’s chaos their “guilty pleasure.” Others, like @fayded_Tv, remained less thrilled. He deemed Warzone a “trash no skill game” and questioned why Doc kept playing if it was clear he wasn’t enjoying it. Then came the trolls; shoutout to @OGgamer916 for: “Wheres the dm a child challenge?” because low blows are always welcome on Twitter.

Well, that’s the reality: whether you are big on Warzone or not, Doc’s streams are must-watch events. The man could be playing Solitaire and it would still be a great time. That’s the power of Two-Time. Even when he’s dragging himself into playing a game he really doesn’t enjoy (something @th3fxr points out with great comparisons to Summit1G’s burnout era), there is a life about him.

The stream is predictably chaotic. Shotgun spam quickly descends into panic-induced, face-to-face slugfests; the no-plates challenge is basically Doc being insta-gibbed in seconds; and 480p black-and-white makes it somewhat resemble those artsy cartoon noir flicks but with far too many explosions. Naturally, the best moment had to be that shotgun-only victory that Doc pulled out of thin air while screaming “DOMINANCE” at the top of his lungs. Classic.

Now, to be fair, not everyone was willing to admit being impressed. @themrohiostate said it was “boring as fuck”, while @LordBoobular went on to say they’d rather watch Doc by himself than with some teammates-so, obviously, you’re not going to please everybody, especially not on the Internet.

Ultimately, this is what makes Dr Disrespect one of the most polarizing yet entertaining figures in gaming. Being Mr. Dominance, raging mad, or just completely absurd, he’s always got a show to bring. He definitely isn’t about to stop anytime soon with these challenges.

In this case, if you missed this stream, then head over to the VOD. Be prepared for hours of screaming, crushing the death counter, and maybe, just maybe, some dominant moments; this is pretty much what Doc is about.

And if you are one of those voices that say Warzone is a washed-up FPS now? Well, Doc is still in the game, making it entertaining with one awful challenge after another.
