The legit sniper runs of maximum difficulty are happening here, the Two-Timer itself! He dies it minimum. The stream has been announced, and the entire gaming community goes into a collective meltdown-but not quite in any usual way!
The Doc has been known for years as having a bizarrely big personality with streams of insane levels of production, and the character version of hard knockin’ down. While few nowadays would appear to disagree that 2K working together with Doc would be kind of huge to play Borderlands, the replies in his tweet are an insane combination of hype, confusion, and outright controversial stuff. So, it just clicked everywhere.
Some are really hyped for him to see first-hand the horrors Pandora might throw his way. The very first-five.I bet you will love it, Doc!! Fun stuff” and “Lotta chaos, lotta fun” comments burning up the timeline. And we’re going to throw in one “personalized guarantee” that he will not be disappointed-a lot of confidence there!
But then… the other side. There is a not-insignificant chunk of replies addressing serious real-world issues, calling him out for keeping silent on events affecting other streamers. “Cowardly grifter,” “careerist flea” are being flung about. Someone even called him Mr. Silent. Heavy stuff, and there for everyone to see. Heavy with that split vibe.
Next come the classic gamer responses. Some said that he is about “10-year-late to this franchise,” which is fair enough. Another one bluntly told him, “don’t waste your time. play Boarderlands 2 instead,” the inevitable spelling being unsuccessful. Shoot, another one predicted with total certainty. “He gonna hate this game. Saying it right now.” If the Borderlands community could speak one language, it would be passionate and opinionated about which one is the best.
And, oh yes, a Doc stream wouldn’t be complete without memes and weirdness galore. There are a bunch of gifs posted, questioning why that promo pic has him holding his gun like that, and one guy just commenting “Drip drip take a SIP.” None of it really makes much sense. Another suggested that his next game should be *Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay,* especially since it’s “an old school FPS with lots of VSM.” Classic Doc line.
It’s an odd combination: genuine excitement about the gameplay side by side with baggage totally unrelated to the game. Breathtakingly rare, the partnership is a big uphill climb, and the stream is almost guaranteed by itself to be a good laugh. The Doc doesn’t do boring. And the talk going on would be way bigger than just some guy playing a looter-shooter for the very first time. It is about his platform, his persona, and how that branches into the big world.
Whether you’re in it for the insane loot drops, classic Doc rages, or just to watch the horrid mess that is the chat, this is going to be one of those streams that will either be remembered or will just hang around minds for a while. The Two-Time with Borderlands. Which would ever surprise anyone? Honestly, it was not me. But yeah. Watch how many times he says “VSM” before the first boss. I give him a dozen, at least.
Aight, stream’s live, comments are wacky, and Doc is probably yelling about something. A day on the internet. What else is new?
