The gaming world is full of news, as Dr Disrespect and Bobby “LABUBU” Poff prepare for a Triple Threat Challenge in Call of Duty: Warzone. The big event was announced on Twitter by Dr Disrespect, along with three disciplines that their high stakes wonder must emerge from successfully. And that explains the fact that casual gameplay will be nothing but a mere laugh.
The first one is Kill Swap win, with the two players having to exchange kills. Sounds easy? Think that coordinating that mid-game with all the craziness of Warzone swirling around would calm you down. The second one is Sniper Only win. No sprays engender prayers, only harsh precision. Then comes the biggest flex of wins–No Bullet win. Yep. No bullets. Would melee be allowed? Equipment? The Doc left it all up to interpretations, which is, in itself, a scary proposition.
The tweet exploded with all sorts of reactions. Here comes Glenn Falco, joking about quitting work to watch the madness. Then Carlos demanded a full PowerPoint on how the Kill Swap mechanic could even work. Khalid then hyped the duo as a remedy to the “snooze fest” industry. Then we go into the classic Doc vibes: players like BeeGeeBeeGee2 set the mood with their declaration of “I cannot take these two anymore.”
Some weren’t pleased, however. SaltyDawg threw shade by calling Doc’s content a complete “snoozefest.” Ouch! KJ also said Nickmercs would be fuming about the collab. There are also Kenetic Energy Drink fans: Che D’darchese said that would lend him mental clarity, leaving the others wondering how Bobby got the LABUBU nickname and they didn’t. Legit question.
The challenge itself is classic Doc: high stakes, ridiculous rules, and so much chaos that it makes one wonder if they are actually even regular human beings. And the responses? A wild mix of hype, confusion, and memes. One player proposed the punish-for-failure punishment: Crimson Steel and Fire Mario skins for a week. Nice going.
Then some have joined their version of Warzone fatigue. Musk_Meltdown begged for a non-COD game, while JNote flat-out told Doc to “give Warzone a rest.” But really–with the Two-Time involved, rest isn’t even in the dictionary.
Streaming live right now, and if the past is any precedent, this’ll be one for the clip-show. Whether they conquer the Triple Threat or spectacularly crash and burn, one thing’s for certain: every pair of eyes in the gaming community is glued to it. And not watching? Big loss for the viewers, as this one may just be the most unhinged Warzone session of the year.
So prepare your popcorn, mute your boss, and put that TV on. Dr Disrespect and Bobby Poff joining forces mean guaranteed madness. Actually, this madness is something no one would want to miss anyway.
