Two more downloadable characters based on the most current theatrical film in the Dragon Ball franchise, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, have been announced for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Even though Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been available for nearly six years, Dimps and Bandai Namco continue to provide updates and support for the game.

Because of the overwhelming response to the game since its introduction, several new features have been added and existing ones expanded upon; for example, players can now unleash their own Ultra Instinct.

Bandai Namco has announced that the upcoming downloadable content packs will be based on Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, indicating that post-launch support will continue. In this film, Piccolo, Gohan, and others are joined by two new Android foes, Gamma 1 and 2, in their battle against the Red Ribbon Army.

With the imminent release of the Hero of Justice Pack Set for Xenoverse 2, Gamma 2 was announced as the first downloadable character in September. In addition, a new trailer features appearances from two of the original pack’s characters.

An abbreviated copy of the first trailer is shown to introduce Gamma 2’s powers and moveset in a match versus Piccolo. Gamma 1 flies in after Gamma 2 has presented himself, showing off his own set of moves and highlighting how he differs from his sibling. Gamma 1 may unleash a powerful ray of energy on his foe with his blaster and a flurry of kicks.

At the end of the preview, Piccolo is shown pinned between two Androids and definitely on the losing end. However, after the Z-Warrior had about given up hope, Gohan appeared out of nowhere and swooped in to help. As you can see, the messy hair and glasses directly nod to Gohan’s appearance in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

The trailer emphasizes that this particular Gohan is called “Gohan” to set him apart from the other versions of the hero in the game. After he enters the fight, he exhibits his Super Gohan transformation talent and set of skills against Gamma 1.
