That one spitting-casual tweet about entering Hawezar in Diablo IV just set the replies exploding like a pack of Fallen Shamans. The accusations and insults coming from the players contain complaints about just about everything-battle pass prices, memory leaks, the missing classes, and even the macOS version. It’s chaos for sure, and the Diablo community is going down in fierce flames.
Number one was visual goodies and battle pass pricing. Ron1nn_ just straight up called it a “Big F,” which, generally speaking, depicts the opinion of many gamers-that Blizzard monetization has gone too far. ElGreko79 suggested they drop the skin price for a week to 3.99 euros and see if sales would spike. Hmm, not a bad idea at all. But Blizzard isn’t going to yield, and the harder players try to argue, the more they are worn out with paying out quite a bit for a mere set of digital drips.
Now, for the technical systems: Jeff70402301 has unleashed an epic rage at the wardrobe bug and pet selection glitched: “CAN YOU FIX YOUR FUCKING GAME.” Meanwhile, Lukasz Puchala and some others had memory leaks reported, but TheLimpingMerc chimed in sarcastically, “Probably their PC acting up.” The classic under-the-net debate: Is it the game, or is it your rig? At the end of the day, something needs fixing.
And no content? Dale_Cooper86 slammed Diablo IV’s open world for being an utter bore as compared to the gothic charm of Diablo 2. Gas87x said the seasonal updates are “one of the worst in any live service game” with almost nothing on the new but daily skin refresh. Ouch! Daniel, aka (Darkeheh), says jokingly that he’s waiting for “Diablo IV to come out of beta” before buying expansions.
Then, the loot grind? TheJbeatz laments the cruel RNG at Tier IV, where players find themselves grinding for Uber and ancestral gear only to be rewarded with blue and regular legendaries. “Massive grinding for little reward” says it all.
On the bright side, E (ernokkela) gave kudos for awesome Druid gameplay, as some other players like The Obsidian Knight chill in Fractured Peaks.
Will Blizzard then listen? That would be the biggest question by now. Paladin demands (DeltaHalo117), Dead by Daylight collab (BlessUrHead), and even porting older Diablo games from the Steam (AymericHLX) are dictating a very long wishlist. For now, though, until it gets fixed and updated, the salt mines of Sanctuary are worth it.
So yeah- Hawezar might be waiting, but so is a pack of pissed-off gamers. Blizzard, hellish fires are waiting for you!
