Another bombshell: Bungie has just dropped in their weekly blog-the TWAB-. Now, all of the Destiny 2 players are gripping with the issues that concern this week. Well, this week’s blog has SO much juice-from the firing end of Heresy Act III up to some very sweet hot changes on the banning policy level. These loot-grabbers at Trials of Osiris? Yup, they are really eating GOOD with Exalted Truth drops.
First up is the third act of Heresy. Bungie has been working the teasers for weeks, and the finale is here at last. No spoilers here (because for real, go play and find out!), but let’s just say the lore nerds are about to scream. The TWAB did not clarify much-because of course it did not-but the implications are massive. Expect to see wild theories flooding the subreddit in 3…2…1…
And the banning policy? This is, Bungie going, TO THE MAX–hard. Cheaters, exploiters, and general rascals, this is your last warning. The studio is ramping up restrictions, and already players have split opinions. Some are cheering like they just got a Trials flawless run; others are eyeing the changes with, “Wait, does this affect me?” If you’ve been walking the fine line…just don’t, okay?
And finally the PVP grind-mongers amountah-tah- Trials of Osiris are back with a bang. Exalted Truth, glimmering hand cannon on all hunting lists, drops from Trials wins like candy (okay, more like candy you have to earn after sweating through 7-win cards). The TWAB confirmed it in the loot pool, so gather up your fireteam and pray to the gods of matchmaking.
What is strange about this, though, is how there’s nothing there-NOT ONE response to the tweet. Crickets. Generally, Twitter for Destiny is a war zone of hot takes, memes, and salt. Did no one see this? Or are they too busy actually playing the game for a change? Maybe that silence will echo louder than a thousand raging replies. Or maybe everyone’s just…weary. Who knows.
