The sequel to Deadly Premonition is on its way to the Nintendo Switch. Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will take place in present-day Boston, but the game will send players back through time. Enjoy the next chapter in this survival horror franchise as you uncover yet another mystery.

This is the true sequel to the original, and it is being worked on by the original creator team. This will be a Rated M game upon release for its use of drugs, violence, blood, and gore. Explore a horror adventure that transcends time and provokes the imagination of what horror can become.

Return to the world as FBI Special Agent York as you investigate a brand-new murder mystery. This game acts as both a prequel and a sequel to the original murder mystery in Le Carre.

The original Deadly Premonition introduced payers to FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan. The hero is on the case investigating the Raincoat Killer, who is responsible for a murder in the town of Greenvale. As you adventures throughout the town, players could investigate leads, complete side quests, and enjoy mini-games.

The first game also introduced the idea of the Other World, where York investigated crimes as well. In the Other World York collected evidence and then uses his deductive skills to reconstruct the events of each crime. Events that happen in the Other World affect the entire town resulting in a fascinating mix of realities.

Deadly Premonition 2 will be set in New Orleans in 2005, but it is also set in 2019 as well. There are two time periods that the game visits with one being before the first game, and one directly after its events. Two FBI agents investigated the same set of murders across a time difference, and the game is bringing back its open-world survival horror features.

Explore the city on foot or on a skateboard and customize your investigator’s appearance. This game will feature more missions, more mini-games, and more horror than the previous title. Unlike the original, Deadly Premonition 2 will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive and, for the moment, seems to be remaining that way.

Deadly Premonition 2 will be released on July 10 from Rising Star Games. The game will take up 4.9 GB, so make sure to free up the appropriate amount of space to store this game. Grab your badge and get ready for another FBI adventure with a whole new case, and a whole new killer in New Orleans.
