Dead by Daylight fans surely received a shocking surprise at PAX East: Lara Croft is entering the fog! Well, she of the famous Tomb Raider brand would charm her way in with a brand-new Survivor costume in the Summer of 2025. The official Dead by Daylight Twitter account just dropped that bomb, and fans were just blown away.

From what little is known concerning the crossover, from what we gather, Lara’s new outfit is neat, tactical, and fitting with her survivalist persona. There are no details about perks or voice lines; I mean, having her in the game is hype enough. The PAX East showcase hosted the reveal, and truly, this is one of the best collabs that DbD has ever seen.

It’s not the first time DbD has brought in legendary characters. From Resident Evil’s Leon and Jill to Stranger Things’ Demogorgon. But bringing Lara Croft in? That’s a level up. And she’s a perfect match for the fast-paced hide-and-seek gameplay. Imagine her parkour dodging killers.

Wells and Wells. Now the bigger question is if all this is going as a stand-alone DLC or a full-blown Tomb Raider crossover. Unconfirmed yet; however, the speculation is already darting and dancing. Maybe a Tomb Raider-themed map or a killer inspired by the series. (Hey, T-Rex as a killer? We can dream.)

DbD devs are slaying with the crossovers, and this one is no different. This line of events just showcases how the game is still thriving since ever after its launch. Keep an eyed on this, because if by some stroke of luck you missed the PAX East reveal, then the official trailer is blowing up everywhere right now!

Summer 2025 feels so far away, but at least now we know what to look forward to. Till then, keep grinding for bloodpoints in DbD, digging your nails into your palm, and praying to God you don’t run into a facecamping tunneling killer.

If attending PAX East, keep your eyes on the lookout for more DbD reveals since the devs love dropping secrets over these events. Another teaser before the weekend ends would be much appreciated.
