Brace for some terror! Dark Mass that emerges on scene has a word called NEW: all new, never-seen horrors-from-bottom-to-top kind of game. That right; this one-HERE-UNDERWATER! Alice is a good, brave diver into deep seas. She will go with her brother Reed in search of an ancient sunken manor which has sought to hide its treasures since an earthquake many years before. Pretty cool isn’t it?
Exploring a stranger house in its depths but wait-There will be a catch-Something is out there down in shadows and it certainly does not like you. Imagine swimming around, looking for cool stuff, then BOOM! Something behind you. Eek! That’s what Dark Mass, pure thrill, means.
The game is vertical exploration, meaning that it is above and below exploration, not merely right and left. This intensifies the excitement. And yes, the water adds another layer of fear altogether. Who knows what might be hiding down there in the ill-lit waters?
There will be creepy puzzles along the way that contain strange rituals. What do they mean? What actually happened in the manor? Digging deep will tell the story. Keep an eye on your back! It’s behind the walls of that manor, lies a gigantic being waiting for you to fuck up. Are you able to avoid it?
The best news is that it is actually going to be up to you, and that should change how stories play out-instead of having one story that every player gets, that means every person is having a different path experience. Who wouldn’t want that? You become a part of it. Are you to brave or scared? You choose!
Dark Mass is being talked a lot online by many of the fans. One gamer goes by the name of MaxPowerKA1 saying, “Oh god, please let this be good!! 😍😍🙏🏻🙏🏻 games, horror movies, and scuba diving … this combines three of my biggest interests!!😍🔥” This one for sure hypes the level!
But there are some doubters, too. A gamer named André Egner stated, “Looks intriguing, though I doubt it to be the first one set ‘entirely’ underwater.” He’d consider titles such as Subnautica for example, which also have some underwater sections. Some people just want to nitpick for the sake of it.
“What about features including diving masks?” another gamer, Ryan Akaike, asked. Well, darn good question! Diving masks would be awesome!
Another point of contention: how scary will it be? “Dude… water levels already can be very divisive; I can’t even imagine an entire game set underwater.” That’s definitely true! Water is a tough subject in games.
And then, of course, there’s the fear! Ed shared, “Oh hell no I can’t do underwater 😭 I’m scared of sharks.” Eew! Underwater games can be super terrifying, especially if some creepy creature is swimming about.
In all, Dark Mass seems fabulous to a fault. Bringing in a mix of horror and deep-sea adventure, this is a first! Will you be brave enough to seek the mystery of the manor? Or will you be scary enough to dive? Only time will tell!
