On its Twitter account, Cyberpunk 2077 dropped some heavy truth via an uplifting quote that struck the gamer audience hard, much like a rogue Delamain cab: “Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes playing a poor hand well.” Now some rather interesting fanart by @Comput_ART came forth before the gamers nodded their heads in unison… and the replies went wild with love, frustration, and possibly even mend-the-game demands. Whatever else is new in Night City?

The fanart? Flawless. Dark, sleek, full of the good vibes of cyberpunk artwork. The players immediately started demanding that CDPR make a real tarot deck (👀 @galaxygh0ulVP, we are looking at you). Some others weighed in, saying how dope the in-game card collection is and sharing some of their own snaps (@obiwanmama). Others expressed love for Misty (@1Nina2_2KDA1): Honestly, same vibes.

But-a-the—yeah, it’s always “but” sooner or later—once the players started venting, the vibe took a hard left turn. @justv11098 didn’t mince words: “When are you gonna fix the constant crashes? Cars falling out of the sky? Autodrive barely working?” Oof. @NicholasFive joined in, sarcastically praising the team for focusing on “three new car paints and a photo mode frame” as textures flickered and Xbox Series X VRR entertained itself with its very existence not being there (@shadowoftheden agreed strongly on that). Two realities for this game: one where it is a visual masterpiece, another where it’s held together with duct tape and hopes.

Meanwhile, @jvnanii kept the crossover energy wild by posting Fortnite pics of V and Johnny Silverhand for some reason, while @XboxMurda went straight for the jugular with an “X-rated DLC” proposal. Priorities, folks.

The quote triggered some very serious chatter indeed: @Dualnames took it as life advice (“focus on the things that really matter”), whereas @Gro3_ kept it very brief: “Strategy matters most!” Enter @AngryOldLoser, who sighed, “Something I was never able to do.” Relatable.

What’s all this leading to? It is of no surprise, then, that the Cyberpunk 2077 community is so vibrant, swimming in creativity along with criticism. The art? Gorgeous. The game’s state? A sore country bumpkin for quite a few. But if we’ve learned anything from Night City, it’s how to take punches. Alright, CDPR: about those fixes…
