The popular indie video game, Cuphead, is coming in a different form this October. And the excitement might even go higher with its rumored release on Nintendo Switch.

The game from StudioMDHR first got the attention of gamers in September 2017. That was when it was launched on Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. A year after, the macOS version was released.

Accordingly, the strong reception from fans cannot be attributed alone to its gameplay. Its unique artwork is another reason why it won so many hearts.

Following the video game’s popularity, Cuphead’s is currently working with Dark Horse Comics for a project. GameSpot reported that the upcoming oversized art book would consist of 160 pages.

Each of these pages will be filled with early concepts as well as with retro designs and hand-drawn frames. It will be called “The Art od Cuphead.”

Aside from the adventures of Cuphead and Mugman, it also has other things to tell. It will share several insights and commentaries from its directors, Chad and Jared Moldenhauer.

Starting on October 22, fans can already make a pre-order of the art book on Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and TFAW.

Those who want to have the Cuphead’s new offering may also check the local comic shop near them.

For $30, they can already enjoy the comic book in huge format. It only means that there is so much to enjoy it.

On the other hand, Ubergizmo posted an exciting update. It reported that Jeuxvideo, a French gaming website, has gotten word about the game’s arrival on Nintendo Switch.

The run-and-gun game has been an exclusive title for Xbox and PC. Thus, if the rumor is true, it will be a welcome development for fans.

In the meantime, Geek.com reported that the game is one of the titles that fans would like to see on Switch.

It would be better for Cuphead to be handy so that fans can play it anywhere, anytime.

The site noted that the indie video game is gorgeous. Its raw technical presence is beyond doubt. This is even coupled with the “sheer effort” the developer has put in to produce a well-thought and well-designed animations.

Aside from this indie title, Sea of Thieves, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Forza Horizon 4 were cited in the list as well.

Keep posted for more Cuphead news and updates! Who knows? The game might be arriving on Nintendo Switch this year.
