Recently, four new Bioshock Switch ratings propped online, with the BioShock: The Collection for the Nintendo Switch.
Also, with the collection, the Taiwanese game scoring board has scored the original remastered BioShock games for the Switch, which includes all the BioShock entries like BioShock 1 Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered and also the BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition.
However, even though neither publisher 2K games nor Nintendo has officially confirmed if BioShock Switch ports exist at all, it seems it’s just a little time before everyone starts to enter the Rapture and Columbia and find out. According to the scoring for the individual BioShock entries, it seems that these will be available with the BioShock: The Collection.
This collection consists of all the BioShock installments mentioned above alongside all DLC, and also BioShock 2’s Minerva’s Den and BioShock Infinite’s Burial at Sea.
BioShock
• The video series, ‘The Director’s Commentary: Imagining BioShock,’ with features like Ken Levine, creative director on BioShock and BioShock Infinite, and Shawn Robertson, the animation lead on BioShock and also the animation director on BioShock Infinite.
• Museum of Orphaned Concepts—Players walk through a Rapture-inspired virtual museum that gives players a real look at abandoned concepts that were scraped from the original game.
• Challenge Rooms—this one is not in the scope of BioShock, but in it, players get to tackle puzzles, Big Daddies, and splicers. And also achievements.
BioShock 2—No Multiplayer included
• Minerva’s Den—this particular BioShock comes with a self-contained story, offering a side of Rapture that no one has ever seen. In this title, players can expand combat abilities with the experimental Ion Laser and catastrophic Gravity Well Plasmid, exclusive to Minerva’s Den, as the Lancer Big Daddy is battled.
• Protector Trails—in this one, the player has to take control of an Alpha Series Big Daddy taken out of hibernation just before the events of BioShock 2.
BioShock Infinite
• Burial at Sea – Episode 1 and 2 Add-On Packs— this first dual-part DLC completes the BioShock trilogy by going back to where it all began. The point here is to return to Rapture exactly before the events of the original BioShock.
• Clash in the Clouds Add-On Pack—take on 60 waves of challenges across four added maps for leaderboard glory and open up areas to explore in The Columbian Archaeological Society hub museum.
• Columbia’s Finest Pack—adds the content of the Industrial Revolution Pack and the Upgrade Pack. They include 500 Silver Eagles, six distinct Gear items, five Lock Picks, and also two weapon upgrades—Comstock’s Eagle Eye Sniper Rifle and Comstock’s China Broom Shotgun.
Also, early this month, Metro Exodus got a rating for the Switch, and from the look of things, this bundle might likely come next month.
However, since the BioShock Switch ports haven’t been officially released, please don’t rest on the information. With that said, check back for future updates on this issue. Until then, happy gaming!!
