Battlefield 5’s New Battle Royale Game Mode For 2019 Has Finally Been Revealed; There’s More Than Just Battle Royale Mode To Be Excited About

Last year, DICE announced that a battle royale game mode will be added to Battlefield 5. Since then, only limited information was released regarding this mode.

But now, the battle royale mode – Firestorm – is almost here. A lot of players have been excited about this especially after its reveal trailer.

Just wait till everyone sees what’s in store for them. Electronic Arts and DICE have recently revealed their plans for Battlefield 5 and it looks like it goes way beyond.

There’s actually more than just the battle royale mode players need to watch out for. There will be three major contents that will drop in the next couple of months. Be prepared as this will definitely keep everyone busy.

The first part of the 2019 roadmap will commence next week on March 25.

It starts off with Chapter 3: Trial by Fire. Battlefield 5’s battle royale mode, Firestorm, will launch on the first day Chapter 3 goes live. It will then be followed by the addition of new missions on Combined Arms this coming April.

A new Mediterranean map, inspired from the Battle of Crete, will be released on May for players to explore.

In June, Battlefield 5 will be getting another new multiplayer mode which will be called Outpost.

Chapter 4: Defying the Odds is set for launch this summer in June. This chapter will bring in a new multiplayer map which will be named Marita.

The map is inspired by the 1994 Greece invasion where players will get to experience the conflict between each force.

Another new multiplayer mode will also be launched for this chapter. It will take two teams consisting of 5 members up close and personal in close-quarters combat against each other.

The last content announced on the roadmap will come in the fall of 2019. Chapter 5: Awakening the Giant will bring a new war that brings a different kind of threat.

As the title suggests, it seems like there will be a giant that will awaken. And a new threat of invasion is coming not only on land but also the air and sea.

While details are scarce about this chapter, more information might be revealed as the content’s release date approaches.

It’s nice to know that Electronic Arts and DICE have a clear plan for Battlefield 5’s future. But all of these, as they pointed out on their website, may still change. They are willing to listen to the feedback of the community as they develop and evolve their content and services.
