Instead of hyping the merch via replies, players are bashing it with complaints, bugs, and straight rage. Quite hilarious, if I’m being honest.
First, I guess it is okay to highlight the elephant in the room-servers. Or, eh, *non-functioning* servers. A lot of players, among them the very vocal @Putchi_Eternal, are calling the game out, claiming that it freezes mid-match while legends walk off in random directions for about *10-15 seconds*. Imagine getting absolutely beamed because your character decided to go take a stroll to Narnia. Fun time, yeah?
The real kicker? Audio. Ohhhh boy, the audio. @abysswalker995 put it bluntly as such: *”The sound is so fucked. Revert the audio changes asap.”* I mean, footsteps? Gone. Gunfire? Muffled. The entire soundscape of Apex right now essentially is you engaging in a game of Russian roulette with your ears.
Now do not get me started on Pathfinder. Poor robo-boi’s been getting strays left right and center. @AbelKw went ahead and renamed him *”Brokefinder”* because his grapple is busted. Two-foot swings? 30-second cooldowns? Man just sounds a lot less like a mobility legend and a whole lot more like *”please just let me move.”*
And bugs? Ohhhh the bugs. @6enjamin_daniel saw that the kill cam is *still* broken-again-just like every other season reset. @Connor23240500 glitched with their pass. And @k_utheway? They’re lining up and begging for bans while cheaters are running wild. A mess. A beautiful, chaotic mess.
But hey, *not everyone* is mad. @travelforyour actually *likes* the new double-tac/ult changes for Alter, calling it collection “the best thing this game has done in a long time.”* So… silver lining? Maybe?
And then there’s @imVashy out here *pleading* with Respawn saying, “Don’t let Apex 2 be made on UE5 please, it is too much for me to handle,” which honestly hits a little too close to home. At this point, do we trust them with such an engine, then?
