Publisher Another Indie and developer Baroque Decay are preparing for its 2D adventure gameYuppie Psycho: Executive Edition. The game was previously released last year but is preparing for an all-new update with additional content and more.
While the game was released on Steam in 2019, previous owners won’t have to worry about paying more for the content. They will receive the content update for free. The Nintendo Switch release, which is a digital download, will contain all previously released content plus the bonus additions from the Executive Edition.

Yuppie Psycho follows the story of Brian Pasternack during the 90s. He’s starting his first day at one of the world’s largest companies, Sintracorp. Brian’s underqualified for the job and unprepared for what’s to come. On the first day, Brian has to prove he’s fit for the job or else.
Brian’s job is to hunt the witch who made the business successful in the first place. She has returned to bully the existing employees. Brian’s quest will lead him to meet his fellow co-workers, other unusual characters and discovering the secrets behind Sintracorp’s past.

The gameplay consists of getting to know the other employees, but Brian is still at work. Players have to be mindful of balancing when to work with idle chit-chat. It will also become important to make the right dialogue decisions to learn more about the secrets co-workers are hiding. Meanwhile, other creatures are lurking and ready to cause trouble. Depending on Brian’s actions, players can unlock multiple endings.
The Executive Edition contains three more hours of additional content, new areas to explore, three new bosses, deeper engagement with certain characters, new “frightening revelations,” plus three new endings, which brings the total count to seven. Even if players have previously played Yuppie Psycho, there is brand new content to keep them coming back.
The new edition was accompanied by a short announcement trailer tasing the new locations and music by Michael “Garoad,” who was the composer of VA-11 Hall-A.
A PlayStation 4 and Xbox One port isn’t completely out of the question. According to the developer, they want to wait and see how the Nintendo Switch port does before planning additional console releases.

Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition launches on PC via Steam and the Nintendo Switch on October 29.
