Back again, the second stage of the VCT EMEA is too much. While the action will continue on tomorrow, the players and teams are gearing for yet another day of cutthroat competition. The official VALORANT Esports EMEA Twitter account released an announcement, and the replies were pure chaos-awesomely so.
Being one of the biggest names in the scene, FNATIC joined with a simple, relatable plea: “can it be friday already pls.” Yes, we feel that completely. The weekend can’t come soon enough with such high stakes. Glaiveur and ItzF1lip0s also backed those #M8WIN chants. Confidence is through the roof.
But not everyone was hyping their compatriots. Alione asked why matches from various groups were not scheduled on the same day. Wensa sheea then speculated that there could have been changes made to the schedule due to the availability of teams. Organizing an esports tournament is a big task and these things do get re-arranged from time to time.
And then, Japão FC | E-Sports did hit the real question: “when you’ll do any event in Portugal/Spain?” Fair question. The VALORANT fan base on the Iberian Peninsula is great and they need some live action too. Maybe next season?
Obviously, GIANTX VALORANT had to reply back teasing FUT Esports with “See you @FUTesportsgg.” Let that rivalry live, and here we are.
What else could one expect from VCT EMEA Stage 2: More matches, more upsets, and definitely more Twitter chaos. Whether you’re rooting for FNATIC, FUT, or whoever else, one thing is for sure- you toodle-woo won’t want to miss a single instrument in the entire score.
So tune in tomorrow to catch the spotlight shined on by two or three angels, hoping to grab a couple of meme-worthy moments. VALORANT esports are never failing.
Oh, and in-between time, when you have an event for Portugal/Spain, it’s going to be all tweets.
