Twitter exploded after Tim posted the brief video on his channel showing antics with fellow streamer from the video clip named “Peanut.” Chasing was followed by apologetic sarcasm that had gamers laughing their faces off. Without ever saying anything, the tweet reads “PEANUT, I AM SORRY…,” and off they went in comments following the very funny clip with Peanut with Tim.
So the clip is certainly worth watching. Just one of those that just “happen” ever so often-unprompted beauty. The stream is chugging along, getting a little chaotic, and then bang-something happens, and Peanut somehow messes up. The video jumps straight to the aftermath in a way that Tim really can put in an absurd but timely apology that goes “PEANUT, I AM SORRY…” and the whole chat goes wild. The same old chaos of real gameplay cast into a race between the streamer and mad laughter. The replies? They got it!
One response from iBeeBLAZEN stood out because of its reflecting the vibe all along: “@timthetatman he in fact was not sorry.” That! That’s what makes it so great. It’s the typical fake streamer apology given in a tone of voice you know has a big grin behind it. DethNade latched onto a fun GIF, typing, “That dude almost broke his neck.” That does, upon further reflection… the gameplay action looks both ridiculous and frantic. Very organic entertainment.
The level of comments only shows how much these people really appreciate these sorts of content creators. The user jeffstinson could hail Peanut for being funny-just another father. He wrote, “Peanut has saved us.” “You could clip farm and have content for a year after 1 stream.” And then Bruisr_ perfectly sparked for the all-time reply to this by asserting: “He’s a content-making machine. He’s like the floor at a Texas Roadhouse.” Like, what even is this even mean?? But that’s hilarious! That’s the kind of ridiculous social content that only connects in one time of livestreamed entertainment in the Buzard13 community.
The whole arc of the story, according to GingerBeardGage, not apology, is what really matters here: “Arc has been doing war crimes against the peanut 🤣”. Basically that this whole clusterfuck occurred just adds more to the fact that there is going on something else between two of them. This could make it good streaming content. This sitcom shit, right? ChiefDPhillips summed the situation up well, writing, “Peanut is the gift that keeps on giving.” And there is no question – for a streamer it is hitting a gold mine one finds such great stuff for sharing with another player.
Certain responses get a little philosophical about it as gamers tend to do. AvalemZ shared, “Having fun and not having fun in 1 clip is how it should be. We can relate to this and it’s okay, till the next one.” What is that all about?! But here’s the rub: It perfectly figures in the rollercoaster of emotions that goes hand in hand with highly competitive or chaotic game, those that sometimes feel you so mad for a second and then, the very next one – you can do nothing but laugh. Bmonsters01 even took a specific comment from onion_samurai: “call him a cry baby greedy bastard,” promising to slap someone who could put up with making their fortune out of catering to stream snipers every day. The melodrama! The passion!
It’s hardly the antithesis of perfect to capture the magic of a little moment. TheDannyClassic called this out: “Actual big brain play to wait until the end.” Everything in some form leading to the actual apology it lets out took place at the right moments. TSMmeatwagon posted less than an hour later with nothing but more of Peanut’s resigned comment, “Alright cool,” hilariously tagged with crying-laughing emojis.
The whole thing ends precisely where gaming entertainment is at its current best. No longer is it about fancy, polished edits of top-moment sights-it is all about rustic, yet humorous wannabe banters that have the players going crazy for it. Twitch clips set up themselves more for being a side talk among the community and sometimes turn regular daily gameplay into “watch-world-event.” Both TimTheTatman and Peanut have realized the most excellent type of content is often simply entertainingly allowing chaos to happen and responding freely-to the amusement of their audience. Then it is said that all hardcore gamers must believe that gaming at its finest is about sharing these moments, feeding each other in wild,≠.
