The dream is finally happening for the PC players of The Last of Us Part II, which is going to release on your rig on April 3. Yes-after what felt like forever (and an awful lot of impatient keyboard mashing), this bloody-and-beautiful monument of God and man was being prepped for the premiere at Steam and Epic.

What are these? A chance, of course, for those rare few who have hopefully been living under a rock since the entire ruckus of the PS4-or even, heaven forbid, the PS5, inasmuch as years have borne the anger, frustration, and sadness of even replaying it on mouse and keyboard-there you go.

The remaster raises the graphics level one more notch, dishes out some behind-the-scenes, extra content, and gives us all ‘No Return,’ a roguelike survival mode. Deviants of the PC land, have at it all, pristine of any dastardly recollections of past buggy optimization issues plaguing some other Sony ports. coughs Horizon Zero Dawn coughs

PC gamers can preorder via Steam and Epic Games Store, but no announcements on prices. Just as is typical with Sony, they like to toy with our minds. If it follows with the pricing of $50 on the PS5 remaster, expect the same. Or surprise us. Who knows?

Is your PC going to run it? Naughty Dog hasn’t let out a peep about specs, but honestly, with this game being so heavy on graphics, you would just want to get kneeling and praying to the GPU gods right now. That rain-soaked Seattle foliage? Yeah, it’s going to need a lot of horsepower to pull that off.

And hey, if you’re one of five people left that haven’t been spoiled on the story… good luck. Minefield since the year 2020 for all. But for everyone else, it is time to relive the rage, heartache, and that one golf club scene (you know the one).

No idea yet on whether it will support mods (imagine Ellie with a lightsaber), but man, just to be able to play with ultra settings at 120 fps would already make us sweat.

Honestly, write that down on your calendar and clear it for preparatory activities until April 3. And maybe buy some tissues. Hang on, did I just rhyme? Ugh. Anyway-go pre-order if you’re into that.
