Kunai is set to release for PC and the Nintendo Switch early next month. It will not be long until the combat-heavy experience is released, allowing fans to ninja their way across a new world of epic timing combat. The game stars a deadly, sentient tablet who wields tons of different weapons in a world torn apart by war.

It features tons of mobility and fighting for those niche players that have the speed and skill to make it through. As a unique challenge, the game is ready to let payers pt themselves to the test in a world of war.

The game is built on the classic ninja with a grappling hook mechanic. Players get to swing around and slash-bounce from enemy to enemy, unlocking tons of damage from your blades and a very chunky SMG. This game brings back a classic Metroidvania style and mixes it with a new theme that fans are sure to love.

Kunai is set in a post-human world in which Tabby, a tablet-robot infused with the soul of an ancient warrior, begins his journey for purpose. Although the entire setting seems more in-depth than the average indie Metroidvania game, the bits and pieces still feel familiar as it follows the same basic structure fans can recognize.

Human life has been almost completely wiped out by an evil A.I. called Lemonkus. Now, robots freely roam the earth in search of battle, destiny, and an understanding of their new lives.

Like other Metroidvania style games, you start with nothing and slowly progress through the game by killing enemy robots. This lets you unlock awesome abilities, weapons, and ninja tricks, helping you further explore a world filled with secrets. There are tons of hidden passages and mysterious characters to be discovered within the future.

The game comes complete with an awesome 16-bit rock soundtrack that is full of references. The unique art style breathes life into the world, and the color palette brings back memories of the early days of gaming. If none of that sounds appealing, then maybe exploding robots of ultimate mayhem might be to your liking. No matter what, Kunai seems to be a cute title with a ton of spunk.
