Hold on to your seats, ladies and gentlemen—Superman has now entered the Fortnite universe… Or well, sort of. Now, we have the bonus pages of the Man of Steel to unlock, and trust me, there really is a grind for it.
What now? I mean, having been following the Battle Pass for Fortnite, you would have heard about Superman being promoted as a major reward. But now, it seems like Epic Games has gone ahead and flipped that switch for players to start unlocking those lovely bonus pages that are attached to the very Kryptonian hero. And with that, the community reactions have been mixed: some are loving it, others are not.
How would you achieve the pages anyway? From the responses, leveling is the very basic requirement for getting the pages. However, the hitch is that some players have reported that previous levels don’t count towards unlocking them. Yes. If you are sitting there at level 200+, you will have to grind new levels again to get the Superman rewards. That hurts.
@Oozaru_db just outrightly stated some frustrations: “I am level 210 and I need 25 levels more? The new method for unlocking bonus pages is very bad.” And honestly? Same. Meanwhile, @battlinhells expressed a very relatable reaction, “24 FING LEVELS, I’M GOING INSANE.” Me too.
There were a couple of others that were really excited: @DHAS013 said, “Let’s gooo! Superman bonus pages are finally here—time to grind and unlock that hero greatness!” Meanwhile, @YngJackieAprile is already smitten: “Buying the battle pass asap.”
Anyway, let’s get back to the rewards. From what we’ve gathered so far, the bonus pages include an alternate style for the Superman skin, maybe a glider, and some other cosmetics. Weirdly though, there are some players saying the number of pages has changed. @LVtheONI asked, “There were 4 pages… now there’s only 2….? Or am I trippin?”
And here comes the entirely dry elephant: Why Superman? @Lorux_085 was candid with this: “Why not something better? Just because the film is coming out?” Good point. So, love or hate, the Last Son of Krypton is here, and Epic is banking on that hype.
Before you begin to inquire—no, there aren’t any special quests tied to unlocking the pages (looking at you, @Shadow99Horror). Level grinding all the way from start to finish. So you were hoping for fun? Eh… maybe next time?
So, what’s the verdict? Superman’s got his moment. Otherwise, the Battle Pass has enough goodies that could hold your attention. Grind it out, and Fortnite players will come out of this with either an epic new Superman skin or a serious case of burnout.
If nothing else, at least we can agree on one thing: Superman might have bonus pages, but he definitely doesn’t have bonus health. RIP.
