Not feeling too excited about a goalkeeper SBC? Goalkeepers are often overlooked and thrown into a team for chemistry’s sake, but this Joe Hart card will speak to a lot of hearts and minds, especially for people who grew up admiring the keeper’s performances.

In terms of the card, the stats are looking pretty good. Joe Hart is a towering 6ft5 which puts him up there with Pope in terms of sheer size. Pope is one of the most popular goalkeepers in FIFA 21 for that precise reason, so this is a good comparison.
Although players don’t pay too much close attention to goalkeeper’s stats, Joe Hart also has pretty good pace for a goalkeeper. This makes him fairly unique compared to other keepers and it means he might just beat some players to those frustrating long balls than your base Ter Stegen, De Gea, or Ederson.

The stats are pretty good where it matters. That pace stands out, with a sprint speed of 82. He’s faster than TOTY Neuer. Joe Hart also has decent dribbling with a focus on reactions, perfect if you find yourself in a tight space with him. He’s easy to link, being English and in the Premier League.
Joe Hart requires an 85-rated squad to complete, which is about 150-200k if you’re just buying all the players. That’s quite expensive for a goalkeeper, although TOTY Neur is currently sitting at 400k.
However, compared to the inform Nick Pope, the 84-rated TOTW card, it’s about 100k more. Pope is sitting at around 50k on both consoles, and the cards share similar stats in terms of size and stature. Joe Hart does have some extra boosts here and there.

Overall, considering the popularity of Pope – and the fact that many players think the card is completely broken – this Joe Hart might be a sound investment if you’re looking for that solid goalkeeper to see you out until the end of the year.
At the same time, that’s almost 200k of untradeable coins dumped into a goalkeeper. Not recommended if your club is running low on players, or if you’re short on coins. Just get Pope instead.
