Servers And Realms Are Officially Coming To Minecraft Playstation Edition

Minecraft Bedrock Edition has featured the ability to join Realms and Servers for quite some time, with the Bedrock edition of Minecraft being available on various devices, excluding the Playstation 4.

These servers and realms allow players to join together and play together, Something that the PlayStation‘s version of Minecraft lacked this feature. For quite some time, Playstation players have been without this key Minecraft feature.

Mojang’s popularity is partly thanks to the ability to join virtually any server and begin to play both the standard game of Minecraft or a custom game mode created and run by the server itself. This variety of play allows players who may have gotten bored with Minecraft’s standard game to experience a brand new adventure.

Mojang Studios officially offers support for both Servers and Realms for Minecraft Playstation Edition, allowing Playstation players to connect and play Minecraft together easily and efficiently.

Minecraft Realms also offers various game modes, which are easily accessible through the Realms menu showcased on the main menu of Minecraft.

Minecraft Realms works differently compared to servers, as realms are persistent works that are always available for others to play in. These realms are also cross-platform, allowing PlayStation players to connect with the rest of the Minecraft community.

Minecraft also offers a Realms Plus subscription, which offers various game modes to be easily started on the Minecraft Realms. These game modes are primarily user-created, these user-created game modes are a variety of different ways to play in Minecraft.

In the Main Menu on Minecraft Playstation Edition, there is now the Server and Realms tab ready for any Minecraft looking to connect with the rest of the Minecraft community.

Any Minecraft player that uses a Playstation look to download this update and connect some new servers that allow players to experience a brand new way to play when compared to playing alone in a singleplayer Minecraft world. This brand new way allows players to work against or work with other players in the Minecraft community.
