Sabrina Carpenter is also the icon of the new Fortnite Festival for Season 8, as if Fortnite itself was not celebrity enough already. That’s right-no hints, no speculative guessing-it was all announced by Epic Games in a glamorous news post that has all the fans buzzing.
And what is even cooler? Well, since Sabrina will head the stage at Fortnite Festival, naturally the entire environment, her music, and probably a little bit of crazy cosmetics are going to come crashing into the Battle Royale universe!
However, nothing has been said officially about skins, emotes, or even a live event (do not even mention a virtual concert-uh, on second thought, no use giving Epic ideas…too late). But going by the general collab trends, we can safely assume she will be everywhere.
And here’s the kicker-For quite some time now, Fortnite’s celebrity list has grown rather long. From Travis Scott onward to Ariana Grande, it’s basically pop culture’s who-is-who. But Sabrina? That strikes a different tone altogether.
She isn’t exactly the past-icons-level celebrity; however, she has a very fresh Gen-Z vibe, with a pretty hefty musical resume. Does that mean there are likely going to be new songs dropped in Festival mode? Maybe an emote entitled “Nonsense”? The options are kind of infinite.
Were there reactions? Well honey, that tweet is still wet, and replies are rushing in. But, you know, the divide had to come in from the Fortnite community. Some beign hyped-“Sabrina in Fortnite? I win.” Others probably “Who?” (Not judging; Google is free.). And the standard moaners were off again about “another celeb collab” like Epic are ever going to stop. Spoiler: They’re not.
So wild that Fortnite is just out here breaking barriers between games and music without a second thought. What used to be Mario versus Sonic is now modern-day virtual festivals fronted by Sabrina Carpenter.
No date has been revealed for when her pieces will drop, but, come on, Season 8 is cooking, so it ought to be pretty soon. Keep your eyes peeled as that’s hitting the shop faster than the release of concert tickets.
And if you’re one to be sitting around waiting for some truths, you might as well go ahead and put your feet up and wait until the leakers leak. You’ll have a thorough analysis of her back bling before Epic even releases a bullet point on it. Such is the way of Fortnight.
And, pray tell, who else? Dua Lipa? Olivia Rodrigo? With the way this is currently going, by 2026, Fortnight would have probably exhausted their supply of stars to recruit.
