This past week, Rockstar Games announced a new race, which is a community-created one, for the GTA Online and its hallmark is an enormous ramp that catapults players into a disordered and merely a matter of contesting and taking a leap into different weightlessness and chaos simultaneously. The user termed as the creator Ben-Terminator98 came up with the course that was, and still is, supported by all players of the current and the next generations of content mentioned. However, this announcement didn’t take long before it was met with demands from players for news regarding Grand Theft Auto VI, thus giving away the community’s divided interest between the existing game and the much-awaited sequel.
So, Rockstar tweets this, right? Just a typical Tuesday, presenting the latest Community Race Series thing. It’s a track called… well, it doesn’t have a name but it’s basically a large ramp. You just… roll down it. You will be controlled by the force of gravity and, most importantly, every other player trying to push you off the brink. Some mythical figure by the name of Ben-Terminator98 was the mastermind behind this crazy creation. It appears to be pure, undiluted chaos. Just the kind of situation where you end up last but are still laughing because you just saw a car going through three full barrel rolls and then bursting. That’s the good stuff, the reason why GTA Online is still alive after so many years despite the passing of time.
But scrolling down is just the beginning. Oh no, it is only the beginning when it comes to scrolling down. The replies to the original tweet are like the previous mention of the tweet being a tiny stone that revolved into an avalanche of true, straight-out gamer impatience. The replies show a distinctly different perspective when it comes to the situation. Rockstar is offering fun and the chorus’ response is instant: “GTA VI PRE ORDERS NOW!!” from a user named Chris Chatzi. He is not the only one standing there. Not by a long shot.
The response is of flood-like magnitude. “GTA 4 port to ps5 when,” asks one. “Rdr2 ps5 port ??” queries… oh, it’s Chris Chatzi once again. My man is really adamant about it. “Antecipe o GTA VI antes da nova guerra mundial,” which after a quick translation is Portuguese for “Release GTA VI before the new world war.” That is… a mood. A very specific and somewhat alarming mood. “Yeter amk artık gta5in ekmeğini yediğiniz gta 6 ne zaman çıkacak” is a tweet from cekunun babası, which roughly translates as, “Enough already, you’ve eaten GTA5’s bread, when is GTA 6 coming out?” The imagery is very vivid.
Things get even crazier. Some users are having full-fledged conversations among themselves. For example, an account that goes by Grok, which appears to be some kind of AI or bot account, responds to people with these weirdly formal, info-dump answers about trailer dates and a possible 2026 release. And Chris Chatzi is just escalating the situation even more by saying, “I’m losing my shit going crazy.” It’s a whole little play happening in the replies and it’s honestly kinda fascinating shrugs and also a little sad.
Now about the actual race. A few people did take the opportunity to comment on it! For example, Elijah (@MrWoodbridge6) wrote: “This is the greatest race I’ve ever played 🤣🤣🤣🤣” and added a clip that features what seems to be total vehicular pandemonium. That’s the spirit! Another one, RakeBit Memes, expressed his opinion with “Gravity doing the real griefing here 😂🚗💥”. Perfect. And Dizzaract just said “Ramp scramble looks brutal pure chaos down that beast. Locked in.” See? Some people really understand the situation. They spot the giant ramp of doom and they are just dying to play.
Yet, those folks are the quietest minority in this specific thread. The loud, overwhelming vibe of the conversation is one of… waiting. There is the waiting feeling that is sometimes frustrated, anxious, and even hilariously funny. One person was so desperate as to say, “Give us trailer 3 instead of donkey fking the absolute sht out of GTA Online🤧”. The metaphor is… quite intense. Another one just shared a GIF of an angry guy with the caption “GTA 6 TRALIER 3😡” who is typing furiously. The misspelling adds to the humor, making it even more raw and immediate.
That is the strange duality that defines the life of GTA Online at present. On the one hand, Rockstar is still our source of these little community highlights, proving that the creative tools are fire and people are still making wild stuff. The Xbox
