According to Rockstar, the news has just come out, and it’s buzzing around the GTA Online community. Or maybe sighing. Just saying, Simeon’s got huge big bonuses in GTA Online. Really?
What basically means is that you get three times GTA$ and RP for completing Export Requests. On top of this, there are double GTA$ and RP for all Simeon Contact Missions. To really go for the employee of the month moniker, make your way through all of the Premium Deluxe Repo Work missions and, after they are done, collect a healthy payout of 500 thousand GTA$ as a bonus straight out to your bank account. Not a bad day’s work for stealing some cars, huh?
But the point here is that this is kind of new-player stuff. We talk about the content of new-player stuff from the very time the game was launched on PS3 and Xbox 360. And that was… ages ago. Then, how did the players react? Just say the reaction remains mixed.
The reply section to Rockstar’s tweet is the trenchant textbook example of gamer fatigue. An account owner named Ed commented: “blud thinks he’s tuff in grand 2025 just wrap it up bro 🙏”. Which is, honestly, a whole mood. Looking forward to GTA 6 and backtracking to buff missions from 2013?
And Ed is far from alone. The comments section is flooded with people pleading for fresh content, or at least bonuses on something people still do. One pretty famous GTA YouTuber named Tylarious simply asked, “BUSINESS BONUSES….. WHEN?” Because, let’s be real: who’s still grinding Simeon missions in 2025? Another player named mikehunt730 hits the core issue: “How bout y’all start paying more than 20 bands for a 30 minute mission. Can’t barely darken my cars tint with that peezy ahh money.” Preach.
And then, there’s the ever-present shadow of GTA VI. The countdown accounts are also there; one casualty announces, “Just 278 days to go!” This hint whispers to us about what everyone is really waiting for. Then player dcryptodragons said what all of us were thinking: “We all could have been playing gta6 by now.” Oof. True tho.
Some wishes are… pretty specific. One player wants a bigger duffel bag for the Cayo Perico heist just like the one from that cop mission. Another one wants a Cargo Ship Robbery for the Salvage Yard. Then there’s the one with the most authentic GTA player response possible: “I prefer to throw every car that he wants off of the del perro pier.”
Back to the bonuses? So yeah, if you’re new or just someone who inexplicably loves delivering cars to Simeon, this one’s for you. Triple money on the exports, double on the missions, and a huge 500K bonus if you complete the whole repo set. For those of us older players who’ve been around for a decade, it’s just another week of the same old stuff while we all collectively stare at the calendar for any morsel of news on next.
It’s a real head-spinner to think that GTA Online is still under weekly updates. Fossil at this point, the game just keeps going. Rockstar keeps supporting it while the player base is laser-focused on the next thing. Interesting limbo period. Some folks are thankful for the free million, like Adrian Nistal, who said, “Thanks, rockstar, for the $1 million. I was really happy to participate.” But for many, it’s just a constant reminder that we’re still here, in Los Santos, doing what we’ve done for over ten years.
So, if you’ve got a few bucks to burn and don’t mind grinding, fire up GTA Online and give Simeon some help. The rest of us… well, we’ll keep waiting. The anticipation for what comes next is so thick you can almost taste it in the air, and these kinds of updates feel like a countdown to the real show kicking off. Maybe next week, they’ll double something worthwhile.
