Rockstar has just introduced a new vehicle to the game named the Declasse Drift Walton L35, a one-of-a-kind off-road pickup welded specifically for drifting culture. The vehicle can be claimed for free until its vanishing date of August 27. The most bizarre thing is how gamers have been strangely excited about towing the truck down every on-ramp in Los Santos, while most of the responses on Rockstar’s tweet just keep begging for one thing: GTA 6.
Walton L35 is a pretty cool truck with an “old-school rugged pickup” vibe and the ability to drift sideways! Rockstar describes it as “turning every on-ramp into a playground,” which is precisely the kind of chaos for which GTA Online is known. Free limited-time vehicles would typically set the crowd off; however, the community’s reaction this time around is… well, unusual.
Scrolling through the replies would just make you feel like hearing the same thing being repeated. “Just launch GTA 6 already” by Danyal A., anyone? Diego Torres is looking for nightclub money, not a free truck. Then the next comment says #SaveRedDeadOnline by Dakota Cornwall – oof, some hot piles of drama!
The players become creative in their demands, but Doğan I Naiboğlu and company campaign for Turkish subtitles in GTA 6, showing that the hype is forever global. Kadir Keskin joins in as well, plainly stating, “We want Turkish language (gta6)-” no attempt at subtlety! Meanwhile, Jose from LittleManiac9 is straight-up asking for Manhunt 3 right after GTA 6, which… sure, why not?
Those brave few that comment about the Walton L35 are drowned out by the uproar for GTA 6. DavidG185 comments that it “looks beautiful,” and he will hold more drift events, while madrug_garage asks Rockstar to regard his very own kit for the truck. But these are exceptions.
Opinions even get crazy at times. Yorch Torch Games and the rest are seriously discussing if GTA 6 can be worth $500, while Based Nerd is making a great point by stating that movies do not demand more money for having big budgets. Meanwhile, InsanityLol wants buffs for Lazer cannons-the priorities, dude.
Aungst Situation here for Rockstar. They keep churning charm and sha-bang GTA Online content for engaging with the community, but theirs truly is anbilities-community place for the next big thing. Walton L35 looks fun, but sixty bucks free trucks just don’t cut anymore when your player base has been waiting for the sequel for almost close to ten years.
In fact, even a vague GTA 6 teaser at this point would break my whole internet way more than all of the Online content combined! Players are forever going to turn every RockStar tweet into a GTA 6 comment section until then. Maybe grab that free drift truck while you wait-it’s going to be a blast sliding it around while we lose it all together.
