The Pokémon Company has made several announcements for its line of games across mobile and the Nintendo Switch. Once the devices are off, some gamers may want to be reminded of their favorite titles. Any Pokémon fan knows that there’s no shortage of merchandise out there related to the games and animated adaptation.
The Pokémon Company has now announced a life-sized plush version of Psyduck, one of the original 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region.
Psyduck had a regular appearance in the first season of the Pokémon anime as one of Misty’s team members. The creature seemed quite oblivious and appeared at random moments to the frustration of the future Cerulean City gym leader. The Pokémon would eventually reveal how much power it was holding within its duck-like body.
The Pokémon Company officially announced the news in a blog post on its official website. The newest plush is an original product from the company and has never previously been released in life-sized detail.
The Psyduck plus stands around 31 inches tall, or about 2 feet and 7 inches, and weighs around nine pounds. According to the official Pokédex sats, this is the same height a Psyduck would be in real life. The plush doesn’t talk and can’t be posed outside of its head-grabbing, but it would make a great addition to a cosplay of Misty or Lucy Stevens. The Psyduck would also make a great conversation piece for its massive size. The plush doll is capable of standing on its own without additional assistance.

Ready to add some charming confusion to your living room, collection display, or workspace? Clutching its head in perpetual perplexity, this Psyduck Poké Plush features a jumbo 31-inch height based on the in-game Pokédex. Send it into a pretend Pokémon battle, or pose it somewhere within sight so it can keep you smiling!
The giant-sized Psyduck is only one of the many Pokémon products and media recently announced. Recently, the company launched Pokémon Smile, a tooth brushing assistance app for kids. A new puzzle and restaurant management game, Pokémon Cafe Mix, also recently launched. The game is free-to-start, meaning players can download the game and play it until a certain point without an additional cost. After players reach a certain point, they may have to pay to access the remainder of the game.
Pre-orders for the giant life-sized version of Psyduck last until July 5 through the Pokémon Center website. After the pre-order period ends, there’s no guarantee the store will sell it regularly in its store.
