Alright, strap in, ’cause Team NINJA just released some major news that the Year of the Ninja is already halfway over, and thus in reality, it is only beginning. From now on: Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, a Dotemu/The Game Kitchen joint. Launch date? July 31st. Best of both Ninja Gaiden worlds are crashing together for what promises to be one hell of a fun adventure.
And what is this Ragebound all about? Well, for those who have been through the franchise, it really had its share of highs and lows: classic hardcore action and controversial releases, never letting go of that trademark ninja style—and now this new title pays respect to those times filled with classic fury with fresh polish. Hype is unreal. The trailer (you MUST watch it) shows killer combat, bananas acrobatics, and steamy ninja violence that we all so desperately crave.
Now the reactions: Gamers are going crazy—the best way possible. Some called it already “legend of legends” (shout out to Zack Snyder’s Twitter doppelganger), while some others straight-up want Ninja Gaiden 4 demos…yesterday! Come on, Team NINJA, toss us a little something!
But not everyone is high just yet. One latent Ninja Gaiden 2 Black sets his complaint about how replayability is ruined by forced female character chapters. Complaint? Probably. Well, something is better than nothing, right? Then there is the wholesome stuff—a fan thanking the devs for creating some of the best action games ever, even if he cannot play Ragebound himself due to said illness. Hits straight to the feels.
Then we got the Game Pass beggars, chanting yet again: “Game Pass for all Gaiden?” Bruh, we hear you loud and clear—you want free games. First, can we just celebrate that Ragebound is really a go?
So, does anybody have the ability to pre-order yet? Like what in the world? That was pointed out by Hidden_lvl on Twitter, and there is that gentleman’s feeling.S”emit If you are gonna bring in this hype on us, at least grant us the hype monetary opportunity!
Now, what’s next? Mark this; set a reminder: July 31. The game is all yours, and judging by the reception so far, it will be kind of crazy. Any die-hard or casual lover of good action will have to play this.
Well, Team NINJA—if you happen to hear me—now how about that Ninja Gaiden 4 demo? Just putting it out there.
Meanwhile, sharpen your blades and prime combos—this ninja storm is rolling in!
