The game did so well that many pined for a sequel. Ask and you shall receive. Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 was officially revealed not too long ago, accompanied by a trailer and a March 2 release date.

The original game had some standout elements, such as officially licensed monster trucks, amazing courses, and no-holds-barred racing. The developer is looking to take the series forward in unique ways, but keeping the classic monster truck action that fans have enjoyed thus far.

It’s being developed by Rainbow Studios and published by THQ Nordic. There are already a lot of confirmed trucks, including the iconic Grave Digger, Gas Monkey Garage, Jurassic Attack, and everyone’s favorite, Zombie.

If you’ve seen these trucks on television or in real life, then you’ll be excited to see how much time the developer put into bringing their authentic details to life in Monster Jam Steel Titans 2. They know how important this aspect of monster truck racing is and seem to have delivered something authentic once again.

Online multiplayer will be supported, so if you’re hoping to put your skills to the test against others across the globe, you’ll be able to do just that in this sequel. The mode should give you plenty of racing content to look forward to, including weekly challenges and a chance to earn your way to the leaderboards.

According to the trailer, there will also be a total of five worlds to explore and around 38 monster trucks to take out in epic fashion. The environments look even more open ended than those in the previous installment, which bodes well if you like going around exploring and completing missions or challenges as you see fit.
