They uploaded a whole dance or dance-esque video on their official page. Speculation now varies through the replies suggesting that a collaboration may be coming soon, mainly an IP from Capcom that has just recently been out: Kunitsu-Gami! The viewers are keenly examining every frame for what they clue the franchise to be about. For real, Monster Hunter might be up to something crazy!
Now Capcom, the creators of the Monster Hunter series, tweeted a Congalala (the pink autonomous monkey creature) doing some foul jigging funk dance, while the whole world, darned, went a-happening, or so to speak. Speculation entertained about collaborations abound: so some real hype over here!
“Dance the stink away!” reads the tweets, with a Congalala bustin’ a funky move. Watched it about five times? Still have no clue on what it MEANS, and the comments are driving speculation even crazier.
Some are even speculating a crossover with Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, the action-strategy game by Capcom. I can see that!
As @french_crusader said, “Wait, could this be the first Capcom Collab? With Kunitsu-Gami???!!!” And @eeriecoco puts in a word about this: “Really hope the Capcom collab is with Kunitsu-Gami. Genuinely one of the best games Capcom has ever made.” Ok, COCO calm down maybe?!
Then @Domaik_ just commented, “I hope the MHwilds colab is with Kunitsu Gami!”
But hold up! Some hunters are doing some real intuitive thinking.
@Dietrichzapdos just suggested an outrageous one: “Maybe Hinoa and Minoto or Yoshiro from Kunitsu-Gami can dance and sing at the Grand hub; other good collaboration would be fighting the Griffin from Dragon’s Dogma 2 in an event quest.” Whoa there! A Dragon’s Dogma 2 crossover?! Now that’s some big-brain thinking.
Then came the issues about it. @moshipsword piped in about the performance issues stating, “Somebody wanna tell me what happened stopped playing for a bit and before I was getting 80fps consistently and now I am lucky to get 30 would love to know what happened and why I can’t play the game anymore.” lol wrong place Dude, ask that on the forums.
And naturally, there is @blackcat7274, who simply wants to mod Congalala with “Gemma in her underwear?” Just freakin’….really!?
Back on track! I think a Kunitsu-Gami collab would be totally awesome; just think about working and adoring the armor sets that are inspired by that game. The visuals would definitely fuse in so well.
Everybody else follows a much more practical line, such as @aldo47225818, who simply states, “Layered weapons [which] is only need game to be perfect for me.”
It’s all speculation at this point. But isn’t that half-the-fun? Watch your backs for any eggs Capcom might lay on us from the blue. Or it might just end up being another funny dance video. Who knows?! Still standing for memes.
