Minecraft‘s popularity has only been increasing since this current pandemic and lockdown. Minecraft’s popularity has only been increasing over the last few months, partly due to the recent Minecraft Live Livestream.
During Minecraft Live, Mojang developers offered a player vote, allowing players to vote on the next mob to be added into Minecraft.
This vote decided which mob out of the three options (being Iceologer, or Glow Squid, or Moobloom) with all of these mobs being from another Minecraft properties. The Iceologer being from Minecraft Dungeons, The Moobloom, and the Glow Squid.
During Minecraft Live, The vote concluded with Glow Squid winning as the next Minecraft mob added to the increasingly popular game thanks to the fan’s decision.
In the Caves and Cliffs Update, there is a large number of additions planning to be added, ranging from new biomes to new mobs.
One addition that Redstone creators should look at with glee is the Sculk Sensor and the various Sculk blocks.
The most important addition to Minecraft, from the Sculk blocks and items, is the Sculk Sensor because it looks cool and can emit particles when a nearby sound is heard and the fact that this singular block allows for wireless Redstone.
Wireless Redstone has been something that Redstone creators could only dream of or find a mod that adds that important feature into Minecraft.
The Sculk Sensor block is only generated in deep dark cave biome and can be used with a piston to create a wireless Redstone clock. An interesting fact about the Sculk Sensor is that it is not affected by ambient weather like rain or Sculk Sensors or even the Warden’s newest tallest mob.
As a Redstone creator, the idea of wireless Redstone is a perfect addition to Minecraft as creating a Redstone door was both a hassle and exceedingly complicated when compared to what could be created with this new addition to Minecraft.
Redstone inventors will have to wait until the Summer of 2021 to experiment with the fully implemented Sculk Sensor, which seems like an incredibly long amount of time before Redstone players get to mess with the new block.
Although players will play around with this block as it is being implemented out thanks to the snapshot updates that Mojang Studios often releases for these larger feature updates.
