Minecraft is a game that has gotten so popular, even before the quarantine and pandemic, originally having 126 million active monthly players. Still, after the quarantine, that number rose considerably to be 131 million active monthly players.

This increase has led content creators and modders to take a higher interest in the game and the gaming community.

Mojang has also been taking a significant increase in updating and creating the best game possible for both the single-player community and the Multiplayer community.

This comes in the form of updates, including the Minecraft 1.16.4 Pre-Release 1 update, which added the Social interaction screen to Minecraft.

Mojang Studios recently released the Minecraft 1.16.4 Pre-Release 2 update for Minecraft Java Edition. This newest Pre-Release also offers no significant gameplay features to Minecraft but further offers some tweaks to the Social Interaction Menu.

These changes include the Status of a player that is now listed below their displayed name on the Social Interactions screen.

The second changes create a new tab that is available to filter by blocked players in the social interaction screen.

In the scene pre-release, the chat from blocked players is now always hidden, and any Realm invites sent from blocked players. This keeps any interaction with blocked players to an absolute minimum.

This pre-release also features some other changes that aren’t related to the Social Interaction screen; these changes include how, when beginning in with a Microsoft account, players blocked in your account are also blocked in the game account restrictions are respected in-game.

This update also introduced how there is now a button that opens a link to the accessibility guide, which can be found in the accessibility option screen.

This update also features a variety of bug fixes introduced in Minecraft’s lastest pre-release; these bugs primarily focus on the Social Interaction screen and can range from broken UI elements to minor fixes the Social Interaction screen tells players when only a single player is present.

The changes are primarily nothing that could be game-breaking to any Minecraft player. Instead, they are updates that make Minecraft an even better game than it already is!
