Players of Monster Hunter Wilds may finally claim their rewards from the Fleeting Bubbles Challenge Quest, but the distribution has been delayed with no official decision yet on the leaderboard results. Capcom announced the distribution by tweeting pictures of the quest rewards, explaining that players could claim their rewards from the Support Desk located in base camp.

Those who completed the challenge can get their rewards, including some fine-looking gear. Competitive-wise, however, everything is in limbo as there has been an announcement from Capcom regarding the delay in the conclusion of leaderboard results. This seems to be annoying some players that were eager to know their standing.

With the Monster Hunter crowd, reactions have been mixed. Some players like Switch Cat are pretty bitter about the rewards, especially the one with the eye glowing effect, suggesting that it is “definitely worth doing the arena [REDACTED] times,” whereas Rossy is more concerned about the technicality side of things and is complaining that the server downtime happening just before the maintenance window stripped them of rewards.

Time-limited quests are a concept that will forever find discussion. Jimothy and VandalHeart383 claim it is unfair to lock rewards behind limited-time events; in this way, players who work 24/7 get the advantage. “Not everyone is available 24/7,” explains Jimothy, adding to his point that he missed out on previous challenges because he did not have time to play.

Many players will probably crack jokes about their success. iHCSx was jokingly talking about clearing the quest with the support hunter, while Dark_Sheeb confessed to some troubles with certain weapons before finally getting an A-rank.

No Monster Hunter conversation would be complete without LitePlays still hoping for a Hatsune Miku collab—posting “Day 28 of asking” daily—while Calm Rajang insists that Capcom “please get rid of cheaters” for starters.

Capcom still gives no tangible timeline regarding the leaderboard delay, other than just saying they’ll share results “as soon as possible.” If one knows the races of the Monster Hunter community involving speedruns and challenge clears, labored patience will surely be understood.

If you haven’t grabbed your rewards yet, you should head down to the Support Desk and check your inventory beforehand. And if you missed this event, well, there is always next time, assuming that Capcom listens to some feedback for a more accessible challenge.

One thing is for sure: The players of Monster Hunter Wilds are still crazy about it, celebrating their wins, venting their frustrations, begging some more for the anime crossovers. Hopefully, this will be the day when leaderboard results are put up for some serious boasting.
