Konami dropped a literal bomb on gamers, declaring Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater to be officially launched worldwide in 10 days. For the gamers who cannot wait to re-immerse themselves once again into the jungles, the Digital Deluxe Edition offers a 48-hour early infiltration! You read that right. So an unkind suggestion would be to stop staring at the calendar, as if that is some kind of torture. Well, The Boss is not going to wait much longer, so best of luck, soldier.
The specs for the hype are VERY real, and players are losing their minds in the replies. Some have even resorted to counting down seconds, CRACKY for instance tweeting, “I’m counting the second can’t wait I won’t keep the boss waiting 🫡💔.” Others are making themselves ready by replaying MGS3, whereas AbdullahN38841’s choice is to marathon Devil May Cry before jumping back into Snake Eater to make comparisons. That is a very hardcore way to prepare.
But, some may be skeptical, as you would expect. LogosSteve, for example, delivered a cold take in regard to Konami: “Probably won’t buy it on day 1 as it doesn’t even plan to offer anything substantial except different graphics.” Ouch. Now, on to the Digital Deluxe Edition…early access, exclusive content, all the chichi. Konami is putting that carrot right in front of your nose; for the hardcore, it might just be worth it.
