Officially launched with all-new roster and all-new upgrades, Madden NFL Mobile 26 – the crowd is already freaking out about it. In promoting such a hype launch of the new Ultimate Team mode, the official Madden NFL Twitter account encouraged fans to download the game, but the gaming community’s reaction in the response to the tweets is just crazy.
Okay, it’s live right now, new rosters and all the upgrades in the book; now, the players are kicking up some huge issues. For instance, he says, “@monstamacck” Whenever I try to pull up the favorite list for plays in my game, it freezes. There were more people commenting about the same exact thing. “Fix this. How did I all of a sudden get 2,308 favorite plays of the same play?” with a video of the game glitching accompanying his tweet. Yikes!
Then there’s the Superstar Mode. It’s just about impossible to play. @0beyTrey said it was “AWFUL” and that it lagged 95% of the time. Meanwhile, @dj_life22 complained about how hard the draft challenge is, especially for broad jump. “I can’t do the broad jump and the highest I’ve been drafted is 15th,” they said. I mean, come on EA, at least make it possible for one to get drafted high.
And the edge rushers? Or lack of edge rushers that have proper traits. @kallz1 literally asked, “WHERE IS A PATCH AT?” because apparently, the defensive gameplay is still broken. Meanwhile, @pharris5987 reminded everyone that the broad jump bug was present last year. “Same game copy n paste,” they said. Oof.
Not everyone was angry. Some players even begged for codes (@brandonsmith299, @CutiePieTrigg), while others questioned what happened to the pre-order content (@PandaTokes_). Big-time frustration, though. @JosephGiaimo8 called it “the same Shitty ass game it’s been for 5 years,” while @get_thatskrila went even farther in suggesting that people need to stop buying EA’s games until they do something great for it. “It’s pretty much a legal scam,” they said. Damn.
Here and there, there are a couple of positives – like @mkharsh33 sharing a custom roster file for Madden 25 players – but mostly it’s complaints. Criticism comes even over weird things like broken goalposts (@The_Birbos) or no alternate uniforms in recaps (@soell_jame58952).
So, yeah, Madden NFL 26 Mobile is here, and judging from its reaction, it has quite a marine to swim through. Will they be able to patch it? Who knows. For now, the players are left to deal with the same annoyances once again, but this time with a whole new coat of paint.
By the way, if you download it, just stay away from the favorites’ tab. Just saying.
