Pokemon trainers, clear the way, for Kommo-o is presently traversing through the Tera Raids of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The word about this spread on Twitter, so trainers got busy trying to get a hold of the beastly-looking dragon-fighter. But Internet reactions just ran out of Steam-if it was hype, then it had memes, then there were demands for a Nintendo Direct.

Kommo-o is not just some random addition. This Alolan pseudo-legendary packs such an enormous punch with its Dragon/Fighting typing that it is an automatic must-have for competitive players and collectors. Now, coming to Tera Raids, you better pull together a good team or have very patient friends.

And there are general-practice discussions on some of the counters; some swear on Slowbro, others boast with Mewtwo, and someone just dipped out after saying, “mid”. Classic. Yet, a real question came up from Luis Carlos: “Can it be found only on Fight-type Tera Battles?” Good question, Luis. There hasn’t been an official answer to this yet, but if we know Game Freak, it’ll probably be yes, but with some more specific conditions for the raid.

Some strangers started dropping jokes and random comments: Miguel threw a dad-level pun: “If he is gay is he Hommo-o?” Sir, this is a Pokemon raid. Meanwhile, somebody said we need a Mario basketball game like NBA Jam because those are the priorities here. And kudos to the constant requests for a Nintendo Direct because Kommo-o just doesn’t cut it.

And overall, good vibes have been the rule of the day. Rescue, as Pixel put it, “Awww, Kommo-o’s finally here! Time to raid some tera battles!” SquidNow reacted simply, “Gotta catch his ass.”

So what do you take away from this? If you have been grinding in Scarlet and Violet, then it is time to jump into Tera Raids and grab a Kommo-o. For the stats; for the flex; or just because you wanna have every single one of them. This is one raid you simply cannot miss.

For the struggles, Cutlass_Stallion, in his Discord, was willing to extend his help; because the Pokemon community can be chaotic, but weirdly wholesome. Now, go out there, trainers- Kommo-o ain’t gonna catch itself.
