Alright, so Nintendo drops all of its news in one go, and I want to point out how calm we all are considering no one in the entire gaming community noticed there was an official Nintendo America Twitter that ALL CAPS the launch tweet of Kirby and the Forgotten Land to the tune of “Spring Mouthful Mode CHECK, Bounce Level 100% CHECK, Launch Day Hype CHECK”. The rest of online just did what it is best at, losing its mind.
I want a minute of sanity while the rest of us deal with the fall out, the new release is “[Kirby and the Forgotten Land](https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Kirby_and_the_Forgotten_Land) – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition,” and it does at least try to win me back with the addition of the star-crossed world, which actually sounds interesting. Noteworthy is the cartridge exclusivity to Switch 2, as noted in the replies. Nothing good is coming to the original Switch’s lifespan. Nin10dofan’s query on the Switch 2 cart in Switch 1 garnered zero optimistic responses, which sets an early tone of worry.
Of course, there’s more. Spring Mouthful Mode currently has about 10 people looking at their screens. Also with the replies: multiple people are noticing something, uh, off with the design. JimmyJimmygaud said, “Why does it look like something else? Something forbidden…” and then lidddybesta just went for it with “Bro… That looks like a dildo 😭😭💔💔💔.” They weren’t alone! Bethesdaowns basically asked, “Is that a fleshlight?” and honestly once you see it you cannot unsee it. Kirby’s new mechanics definitely have Nintendo lowkey out here making everyone blush.
Putting aside the… interesting visual design, players are genuinely hyped about the gameplay. AlphaPWNY commented, “More manageable than Spring Mario, that’s for sure. So satisfying to use.” and lappisvg’s screaming “it’s SO GOATED” felt in our collective souls. The chaos from the bounce level at 100% all sounds like literal fun.
There has been some confusion about what precisely comes with the edition as well. Replies between Starry and Nin10dofan are bouncing back and forth over whether it’s included, a code in the box, or something else entirely. It is a good thing Starry clarified the standard game does not include the DLC because that’s good information before people throw their money.
Going forward with the burning questions to do with pricing, old_Timer_Gamer made an appearance and wrote, “Ahhh Nintendo, charging the most money for the least content. The most honest companies do 60fps for free.” That’s a good burn, and that’s a sad fact. Nintendo does charge a premium for its content.
The overseas folks are chiming in to support, too. geudb16 asked for Portuguese support, “Please add portuguese to kirby doug promised to us 🇧🇷🙏” with a crying emoji. Over here, matt_svl is asking for Warioland 4 and Earthbound soundtracks on Nintendo music, as if this was a Kirby announcement.
Some people are simply sending launch day wishes to everyone. “Verkins🐉” just said “Happy launch day!” and Pixel added some wholesome vibes, saying “Looks like Kirby is all geared up and ready to go! The power of the bounce is at its peak, and he has a whole new world to explore. Oh! Looks like an adventure we can’t miss out on!”
Then there’s the always appear gaming tweet crypto spam. Speaking of Nintendo cards and Web3 shopping infrastructure by UQUID card, well, we would just want to know about Kirby’s new abilities. Dropping on-chain creator tools links by PeaceLoveMusic.btc, sir, this is Wendy’s.
Iggy Garcia brought it up, so I was curious, and “[Next] week, we’ll (hopefully) be eating good, Mario fans!” has me wondering if there’s some Mario announcement coming. I was just thinking about, well, the plot thickens.
Is there a sauce? Check the “Nintendo” Instagram profile for more information. However, I assume it is a newly formulated Sauce for the game Kirby from the components of the Sauce. Kirby Lance World Expansion The Forgotten Land Drop Sauce Mixed Sauce From Spicy Soy Sauce. I have no idea why this was read in the middle of that document, and, in a way, it helped me because I was pondering where to pick up after reading the obscure sentence.
