Have you really believed to have seen everything that GTA Online could offer? Well, not quite! Somebody attempted—some might put it as having pulled off one of the craziest stunts ever: a jump over a helicopter in midair with a BMX. Yep, a BMX. The clip, shared originally by Redditor Bullypunch, went viral on social media, and gamers are going nuts over it!
The actual stunt is a masterclass in timed chaos. The character rides in to a chopper, hits the ramp just so, and sails over the spinning blades as though it were another run of the mill day in Los Santos. It is classy and elegant, the physics-defying leap almost worthy of being scripted; but no, this is purely GTA Online talents-flaunting madness.
The reactions, of course, are just as entertaining as the stunt itself, starting with the ones who celebrate the notoriously wacky GTA physics: “GTA always had great physics,” from SyberSensei while others dream big: “I’m just waiting for someone to pull off a mid-air transfer from a BMX to a Hydra jet,” quipped Triumph Games. Now, wouldn’t that be something!
Following that starts the hype for GTA 6; players such as Mohd Azeem are already describing how insane the stunts are going to be in the next one: “GTA 6 Freestyles and Stunts are gonna be crazyyy!” Truth be told, things like this have only raised the high expectations towards Rockstar.
It’s not a fanbase of liking it, though. Some go ahead and laugh at this GT-level dedication. RUNED_TV1 wrote: I wish I had this much time 😔, while GHub_2 countered: Must be a slow day. Fair enough. But let’s be truthful: this is the kind of borderline absurd content that kept GTA Online going all these years.
Plus, the worrying nitpick continues. Clever_Loon said, “The most unrealistic part of the physics was that the blades didn’t suction him down and chop him up when he got over them.” Yeah, but if we were aiming for realism, we would not have entered a game where you can survive a 50-foot fall by landing on a trampoline made of parked cars.
“Echoes” of “What game is this?”, and for a change, it is jokingly sincere in the comments. Much love goes out to Brie DiSanto for asking the real question and getting answers straight from Grok: “That’s GTA Online, the multiplayer mode of Grand Theft Auto V.” Never change, internet.
Next? Longer stunts for sure. Helicopter jumps, check. Mid-air BMX to jet transfers, sure, chuck that in too. And now, that would be music to a few people’s ears that wonder how this game even has a player base after a decade. But as long as this kind of clip keeps surfacing, let us keep our seat in front of our monitors.
