For those of you who are currently playing, go and access the live quest, “When Do Quematrice Sing?” Get it done, and snatch that “smooch” perfect equipment: the Amstrigian α head armor.
And no, it’s not a typo: a baby PuPu (or at least close enough to making your hunter look like an absolute menace in the cutest way possible).
Well, here’s the kicker-you’ve got until April 22 at 4:59pm PT (or April 23, 00:59 BST for our friends across the pond) to get it done. After that? Poof. Gone. Like a Kelbi dodging a Greatsword swing.
First things first, why is that relevant? Event Quests just always have that little bit of a vibe about them; they are time-limited, often theme-based, and frequently drop special pieces of gear that cannot be acquired elsewhere. This one’s no different.
The Amstrigian α head armor is not just for show (though let’s face it, fashion hunting is the endgame) but flexes to show you were there, have ground, and came up just that much before the deadline.

Well, so what’s here for us for a quest? Capcom did not drop particulars, but you know based on previous Event Quests, shenanigans are to be expected. Amplified Quematrice or a battle with several monsters mixed with some extra flame is going to be well worth the jump.
Responses to the tweet are really unusual? Because that’s not how such things go-the Monster Hunter community here usually devours all this stuff. Perhaps they’re all busy farming the quest to tweet about it. Or maybe they’ve all gone into shock because Capcom finally did something this cute without putting it behind a paywall.
