Sucker Punch Productions has added a few cosmetic items to Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, as costumes from other PlayStation titles have been added to the online-based mode.

The new costumes, that are available in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends right now, are from God of War, Bloodborne, Shadow of the Colossus, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Also, these costumes will only be available until January 15, 2021. You can check out the outfits in the gallery below.

The new samurai character skin is based on Kratos from God of War, the new hunter character skin is based on Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, another hunter skin is based on Shadow of the Colossus, and the ronin skin is based on Bloodborne.

While Ghost of Tsushima was always advertised as a single-player game, its Legends multiplayer was always a pillar of Sucker Punch’s plans for the game.

During a recent interview with IGN, Sucker Punch Productions’ Darren Bridges explained how the mode came to be, saying that it was planned from the very beginning.

“From the very beginning when Nate Fox and the team pitched Ghost, we knew that we wanted cooperative multiplayer to be a pillar of the game,” Bridges explained. “We probably spent six months to a year thinking about different ideas and ultimately we came to Legends. We’ve been working on it really in parallel, both on the engine side and the content side from the beginning of the project.

“We at the studio like supernatural stuff, but Ghost of Tsushima from the beginning was a very grounded experience. That was a core thing that we wanted to get right. So when we batted around different ideas for multiplayer, Legends rose to the top, in part because it allowed us to connect to Jin’s story without [the player] being exactly Jin”

There are four main classes in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends – the samurai, who is best used for players who want to charge at their enemies head-on, the assassin, who is a stealth-based character, the hunter, who is an expert in ranged, bow-and-arrow combat, and the ronin, who is a healer.

Sucker Punch will continue to add to the Ghost of Tsushima: Legends multiplayer, as they’ll regularly update it with new cosmetic items, modes, and raids, which can only be completed with pre-made teams of four, meaning that you can’t use random matchmaking. Other modes include various wave-based survival quests, and co-op, two-player story quests.
