The official account on Twitter introduced Aino, an ever-so-silly inventor girl from Nod-Krai, garnering Clinky-Clank Gadgets-A-Gogo vibes. Now, this is big news since Hydro claymore has seemingly never hit the game before??
Without any doubt, it was an almost instant recognition by players that she could be getting the full treatment-meaning a character introduction video, skill showcase, and the whole nine yards. And it makes perfect sense since apparently, she’s going to be in the 6.0 release, or at least, that is what some comments imply. Now this is where it gets messy-people are saying she could be offered freely? That certainly drags up some stirring reactions.
Oh, and one player dismally said, “I dont care that she’s given out free, i refuse to use her ever.” Ouch! Awkwardly enough, because her birthday is apparently also the anniversary of that particular player and his girlfriend. And other comments where people just pour comments like “She so cute” and “I can’t wait!! >w< Toowoombat” feels like a very mixed basket.
These comments also highlight that the 4-star character struggle is REAL. People’s 4-star horror stories are basically about pulling 90+ times for a specific 4-star, not getting him. At least on paper, be it meta or not, Aino is currently creating ripples even before her official presence. A Hydro claymore inventor with gadget themes and probable free availability? Yeah, I think this one is gonna get a lot of attention when 6.0 gets revealed.
