The heart-warming birthday wish brought to the official Genshin Impact account was indeed chaotic in all the right ways, and lo and behold—was even accompanied by breathtaking fan art by びび. What’s the energy? Acid desert merc-on, loud, unapologetic and uniquely on-brand with the flame-wielding warrior.
The tweet starts with an apology—evidently, Dehya and her crew go hard for birthdays: “Apologies, the mercs love to get rowdy whenever it’s someone’s birthday,” it says, snickering to Dehya sneaking away for drinks instead of dusting it up with sandboarding antics. But drink it, and no, not the booze kind—just juices, freshly squeezed because the devs know what she likes. “To hot-blooded youth,” is how the post concludes, a truly gorgeous sign-off that simply vibes with everything Dehya.
Well, here goes the piece; clearly, it is fiery as びび’s work displays Dehya simply chilling by her drink while the entire confidence oozes through every screenshot. The colors, the lighting-everything is beautiful and downright screams “this character rocks.” HoYoVerse even plugged their TikTok for some more Dehya content for the horde that can’t get enough of her-something really brainy.
This is downright bizarre, though-there were zero replies to this tweet. Like none. Zilch. Which is… weird, to say the least, for Genshin Impact‘s hyper-engaged community. Maybe everyone was too busy marathon-running to TikTok to catch some Dehya content? Or maybe those mercs really got rowdy and scared any troll off from entering into the comment section. Who knows, really?
But, whatever. Just because there were no replies does not mean there was no hype. Dehya has always been famous among fans, and this birthday post is the proof that HoYoVerse indeed knows how to celebrate their characters.
