Are you curious as to what the gamers have lined up for the upcoming weekend? Alienware decided to run a poll, with answers pouring in from a concoction of hype, frustrations, and abnormal energy. From pirates to broken PCs- these are the join-ups that gaming communities are passing around when it comes to the weekend plans.
First off, Christopher Allen, aka VideoManChris is headed to Sea of Thieves. “If you need me, I’ll be pillaging and plundering,” he tweeted, the pirate-flag emoji included. That’s the attitude we want: no responsibilities, loot, and chaos. And now, Jonathan Romeo is out there flexing his M16R2 4070 attached to Marvel Rivals, Doom, and Metaphor. What a stacked lineup!
The others just ever-so-slightly cannot make it through the weekend. 21.py went blunt with, “;The PC is broken;” followed by a frustrated emoji. Zen maintained that somewhat: “My laptop display is down and out of commission for the next 7-10 business days.” Ouch. Then FUGIE came in for the most random on. “Change the diaper.” No context. No explanation. Full chaos.
Meanwhile, with the gaming going on, the choices in store are rather irregular. Fluffy_Panda200 is giving The First Descendant yet another try, but are not happy about the premium currency. “The game’s been good ngl,” they expressed, “but the market is still ass.” Fair critique. Meanwhile, shadow.vfs is bouncing between Bananza Mafia and the Battlefield 6 beta, which-Wait, Battlefield 6 beta? That’s news to us. NectorKurai also mentioned Battlefield 6 lobbies, so is that a thing? Or just wishful thinking?
Simone Fiorini is throwing it back with a bit of nostalgia here, playing the Dead Space, the remake for PC, whereas gotenks1? Well, that response is dependent on when Alienware finally decides to bless them.
That was a shot from the hip by ThunderFury in pinpointing Alienware’s unannounced winner: “Many of us have been waiting for an update.” Ouch. DellCares then headed in to help with somebody’s tech trouble because not all weekends are about gaming.
Takeaway? Either gamers are living pirate-style or dealing with monstrous hardware nightmares while awaiting Alienware to fulfill their wild dreams, and right smack in the middle is the possibility that Battlefield 6 might actually be happening. Maybe? Whatever.
What is certain, however, is that if your PC is bedazzlingly functional, you already have a leg up on the competition. So imitate the ones who’re in and grab your controller (or keyboard) to swim with the madmen in chaos. Or, um…change the diaper. Whatever works.
