Now, not so long ago, Forza Motorsport posed a query in X directing players toward cars that they would love from the ’70s, and it was, in fact, a simple question-how simple? Which one is your favorite ride from the ’70s? Faster than you could say vroom-vroom, a flood of fans for the stream question began, flooding the comments with their dream rides! The question, along with a stunning picture, wound its gears around the minds of the entire Forza community.

What were the rides that really raised some revs? Let’s check up the virtual garage to see which classics the gamers will want to take out on some laps or, you know, just cruise around looking cool.

Wow, that’s cold-world flashback. @roodney101 with a Plymouth Cuda Hemi, @CarlsMustang97 laying in love with Fords with a 1970 Mustang Boss 429-pure muscle car madness!! But, of course, not all the props were in favor of American iron. @estamos_vivos_1 chipped in with the DeLorean DMC-12. Wait was that an 80s thing? Oh, well, close enough!!

But it’s not just name drops. Rather, some players got down to the specifics of the models they’re missing: like @NillaBird88 and @Im_credible who were in the middle of discussing rides they wish would come back into play, including a Plymouth Barracuda-serious dedication, in my opinion, to a digital grind!!

More British tracks anyone? Like @matthorsley2461, who was all about British tracks, and a Mini challenge — clearly, they want to take the Forza experience across the pond.

And then, of course, @xolliChen and all the mistery allusive hints about a ride from that time… too “flashy and colorful”? What’s it going to be?! Hype is REAL. Thirst is real!

Full-on gearhead would have been @holden4ever, advocating for the 1971 XY GTHO Phase III, which should have definitely been in the game and not the XA GTHO: harsh, mate, but kudos for the passion.

Others kept things simple, like @BloatedCorpse, who mentioned “any of the American muscle cars,” because iconic styling is iconic, yo.

@Darkpet1981, paying homage to the Porsche 914-6, a car he shared fond memories of with Forza Motorsport 3. Memories…

Some even asked for their upgrades like @Im_credible pleading for a few drifty lobbies.

The 70s definitely held a dear place in the hearts of car enthusiasts as gamers. It’s neat that Forza Motorsport would ride some of that nostalgia, even if just to dip its toes in now to see if there will be a market for it? The dream garage list is long, so who knows, maybe Turn 10 Studios is taking notes. Fingers crossed that we will see these classics burning rubber in future updates!
