Fortnite has been throwing quite the fancy flex for the super-grindy player. When I say Supreme Courtyard flex here, the latest reward, Supreme Idol wear, for hitting either Superstar or Star rank this season. And, yes, it is as flashy as the title in question.
Swiftly, the official Fortnite account tweeted the latest flex with the words, “You could say this one’s a Supreme flex 💪.” No KIDDING. The timeline image dropped behind everyone’s back-the suit, an awesome futuristic idol outfit, saying, “I don’t touch grass.”
Mark that gob-smack of pristine gold flourishes, some glowing bits, with a swagger sufficient to bring those defaults into envy.
But here’s what: You’ve got to earn it. Closest these taunts from Supreme Idol wear, they are not; your V-Bucks of Season 7 cater, at least, to those who break a sweat playing for long hours as a part-time job on Fortnite. If you’re still in Bronze, maybe next season?
What about the opinions? We find the tweet’s comment section remarkably clear (surprise). That’s weird, indeed, since the Fortnite community typically hurls itself onto the comment sections with hype and salt.
Maybe they’re just grinding and cannot pause to type? Or to listen, silently screaming through their headsets. Who knows?
In any event, only the next few weeks make this costume the status symbol of some sorts. Anybody caught inside will be bowed to in-game; they put in the hours. Or on the other hand: you can, you know, snipe them from the other end of the map purely out of spite. Your call.
So what will it be are you just one step away, at least, from Star rank, this one would definitely be the push that finally makes you sweat. And if not? Oh, well, you can chill out in Creative mode. But deep down inside of you, you want this Supreme Idol drip. It’s time to grind. OoooOOOr cry. Maybe both.
(“Also, by the way, Supreme Idol should be a K-Pop group already at an ultimate final evolution stage. Just a thought.)
