Fortnite has dropped some major Marvel heat with their brand new Fantastic Four skins, and the prices? Actually, pretty crazy. In a good way, I suppose? The price for the whole bundle stands at 3,600 V-Bucks with prices for Reed Richards at 1,600 V-Bucks; Sue Storm at 1,600; Johnny Storm, 1,800; and Ben Grimm (the Thing) at 1,500. Individual purchases come with additional items that range from 300 to 800 V-Bucks. Just got the info from @SpushFNBR, and yes, a varied response is going around.

The bundle deal, as such, must be gone through a bit first. 3,600 V-Bucks for all four members of Fortnite’s first family? This is quite reasonable, actually, compared to some of Fortnite’s prior collaborations! A past example would be when you’d buy a skin plus nothing else for almost 2,000. This almost feels like Epic Games for once listened to us. People’s reactions were aptly summed up by @Soulbound_TV, when it said: “Bro they priced it like they actually like us 😭,” and honestly? So true.

Of course, not all gamers are pleased, some of them reacted like @diablosaucee, calling them “terrible Jewish ass prices” (which is, uhm, quite irrelevant), with other players such as @Captain_Haruno joking that if the skins were gifted to him, he would have asked for a refund. Bitterly so. @GOWDIABLO was a bit uncouth saying things like “stop crying cheap ass” to somebody complaining about the cost. Messy conversations: that’s just Fortnite Twitter, really.

Player observations? Glider not part of the bundle, making Epic appear a little suspicious. @supershy_onyx remarked, “It’s crazy we have to pay for the glider separately 😭,” and yeah, that’s kinda whack. But hey, at least the skins themselves aren’t priced like they’re made of vibranium.

Those happy ones were out in full force: “@XYZ_ASparks2013: I have the money for the whole bundle 😊 I can’t wait,” while the “hesitant” @SeanLia4 waits for more Dragon Ball Z collabs: “Yeah I’ll just wait for the next wave… we still need Jiren.” Priorities, man.

That means ultimate question time. Do you grab the entire bundle or just a couple of solo members? Good enough for a debate, but @obiwanmama weighs in for “Bundle is prolly better 📦” on account of her reasoning behind it, which is sound. Purchasing them separately is technically the more expensive route, so unless you really just want one or two members, the bundle plus shipping is your best bargain.

Mayhem then broke out on Fortnite Twitter, with battles about anime pfps, and @postmetaX calling out someone as a “weirdo”; people coming for Pluto V2 for complaining with no chill from @GOWDIABLO; plus some random NFT jabber.

Good deal for Marvel fans were these skins, especially compared to past prices. Pick them up if you’re in the complete team mood or just want rocker vibes with The Thing. This time Epic actually didn’t put one foot forward and faceplant. Now if they just got rid of the whole glider separate purchase jam…

Is it at all a bad deal? Probably not. Actually, seriously, is-it-bad-d-e-a-l? The Internet reaction? Well, predictably unhinged. Another day in the loop!
