Now, all Fortnite fans, get ready for one more wild Season 4. An array of leaks spills tremendous content coming into Fortnite, and Epic certainly is not holding back. From horror icons to anime crossovers and everything in between.

Next up, bigger and the better: Jason Voorhees currently surfacing! Yes, he is that iconic slasher off Friday the 13th, making it as a Fortnitemares event. Question two: This is not some crackpot rumor; dataminers indeed found a Medallion named “Jason Voorhees: Injured Prey,” which marks enemies under 75 HP in 100 meters. Just classic Jason style, isn’t it? Players are already hyped, but there are a few hoping still for Ghostface (Scream fans, that’s Jason again).

But wait, there is more. The Megazord transformation is mentioned in the leak. So no, you were not hallucinating. Power Ranger fans, hold on to your hats-giant robotic action is on the line. Details are very scarce at this point, but the “Scanner Medallion,” linked with it, hints that it might go about its work so much like Emma Frost’s Blitz Reveal. Are we getting an official Power Ranger collab? Only time will tell, but speculation is already running wild.

Now for some of those weapons: Blade Blaster makes a double majestic entrance, with Jetpacks (chaos incoming), Rail Gun, and Hand Cannon. Oh, and then there’s something called Orbital Bombardment, and I don’t know if that is going to be the most broken thing in the game or an outright failure. No room for in-betweens.

Vehicular entertainment? Absolutely. Both the Whirlybird and the Roly Poly have entered the roster, but that is probably all there is to know about these vehicles for now. Whirlybird is going to live up to its title as an aerial vehicle for tunes interspersed with mid-air madness.

Here are the wacky collaborations all alongside. One Punch Man and Peacemaker are supposed to get shop bundles. Saitama may soon be punching his way into the Item Shop. The player base is split, some already hyped while others like @LittyRhitty are still begging for One Piece. Sorry, pal; maybe next season.

Now, an explanation on that white elephant in the room. Jason Vorhees has been bogged cobbled up in licensing hell for years; just ask about the Friday the 13th game devs. Some are worried the collab will be pulled at the last minute, while others say, ‘if it’s in the files, it’s basically a done deal.’ Let’s hope so, because a Jason boss fight would be insane.

All over the place were reactions from the community. Some thrilled about the unvaults (Jetpacks + Rocket Launcher = pure chaos, as @MarshallMalone3 pointed out), while others wished Fortnitemares had a stronger seasonal theme. @dio_vaati expressed that last year’s Marvel-themed event was a lost opportunity, and honestly? Fair point.

So how about when does it start dropping? No official date, but since Fortnitemares usually happens around October, it’s happening by Halloween, so to speak. Keep your eyes peeled; leaks are probably going to pop. This is not all, thanks to Epic Games.

Until then, start practicing your survival hustle. Between Jason tracking you down and orbital strikes raining from the sky, Season 4 may well be the most chaotic one yet. And really, we wouldn’t want it any other way.
