One last thing: Please go ahead and grab a fresh cuppa because things are going to get explosive. The OG Event Trailer for Rocket Event is officially released and slated for the 26th of July. And, yes-I mean for once-the hype is killing the confusion, some players are facing troubles, while others have been hit with a deja-vu.
First of all, the trailer! This 90-second high-octane trailer has everything one could wish for in a Fortnite event: rockets, explosions, maybe some world-altering chaos-the usual. But it is this plastering over of confusion that makes it feel so familiar. Crazy familiar. One of the players @MFTFGames said, “I swear I’ve seen this before chat…” followed by “Ummm MASSIVE Déjà vu….” So, are we now to believe that Epic Games is recycling content, or is this a sly nod to previous events? Time will tell.
Some are already hyped about it, while others are riddled with tech issues. @Paman7_Goat, for example, couldn’t find a match in the F4 cup edition while his squad was ready to push; a riot @MinerMobiel20 suggested restarting the game, but it didn’t work; “No I’m with my hole squad,” said @Paman7_Goat. Oof! There go Fortnite problems!
Next up: The timing confusion. Players were asking questions like, “What time is this at in est pls do we know?” and “at what time will this event be😭.” Classic Fortnite, a really good trailer dropped but forgot the important part. Meanwhile, @joe32_1 joked, “I think there is more runtime in the teasers for this event than the actual event.” Brutal but probably true.
Well, not everyone is losing sleep over this because some are just riding the wave. @EmorMetaX said, “I like it its gonna be fun!!” while @Iam_Zafir10 replied simply, “I love it.” Even @tonic_pictures found a sliver of calm amidst the chaos by shouting out @HYPEX. So wholesome.
What about the JJK fans? @Wilmo08561752 popped in, asking, “Nice but when are jjk skins returning ?” Priorities, right?
Takeaway, then? The OG Rocket Event will be happening and it will be wild. Fresh or nostalgic trip, any way it’s served up, it’ll go down well with the players-well, or at least it’s trying to-be a mixed bag with all these queue issues and timing mysteries. But that crisp, bi-folded bottom line: Early July 26, that rocket is launched, and the whole world will be watching.
And if you’re still stuck in queue, seriously, try shutting off, and turning it back on. Just saying.
