In case you didn’t hold tight for this one, Epic Games dropped a new batch of skins, and the excitement is certainly valid. Thanks to this update, we have the Fantastic Four, a mysterious Deadmau5 collaboration, and one more collaboration behind curtain number three that has everyone guessing. Experiences range from some loving it, some hating it, and some desiring Nightwing and Red Hood instead.
First up: the release of Fantastic Four skins, with the Fortnite community vegetable; some in favor, some against. Many were happy, for instance, @eff_ie999 glared, “NEED TO SEE PEDRO SKIN LIKE PLEASE ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜,” whereas… not so excited. @CHEWIE_______ described them as “ASS skins,” complaining that Epic ain’t even tryna anymore. Ouch. Then again, maybe SH4RK was passed with passion, for @prestostorm99 claiming it’s the only one he likes.
The Deadmau5 collab remains much of a mystery, with people whispering about it: Music pack? Full skin with the iconic helmet? Or maybe an Emote where your character vibes to “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff”? No one knows, but the anticipation sums up much of the excitement.
And the aforementioned “one more collab?” Oh god, the wild theories flow. @Soulbound_TV joked, “That third collab better not be something wild like Shrek 😂,” while others want something more… classy. Possibly an Ozzy Osbourne bundle, as suggested by @BanNexGenCars, to celebrate his last show? That’d be something special.
Of course, some were disappointed. @clark_kent34450 said, “they all ugly,” with a line of vomit emojis; while @WerewolfDemon22 had some thoughts: “Champion selection this time looks a bit of a hit and miss… I only like Miyako the most.” Fair enough; what is taste after all?
Complaints of downtime hit the feed. @BoothCoulby groaned, “downtime going to take fucking years i swr man,” and another, @luksterttv, was waiting to hear, “What time does downtime stop?” Patience, gamers. Patience.
Let’s not forget the guilty pleasures being exposed in the replies. @Hercules2826 said they would be committing a “huge felony Fortnite lock in,” while @HdhsjD66469 is looking for a trade: “GIVE ME MY TATSUMAKI ONE PUNCH MAN SKIN AND MY LIFE IS YOURS.” Priorities, right?
So, what about the verdict? Some players have begun all-out purchasing (@rxdjxice shouting out, “Actually some good skins this time around”), while others are still waiting for better skin opportunities. Either way, Epic Games keeps the hype alive—whether you adore or abhor the new additions.
And now, if you’ll excuse me, I might as well go back to refreshing the shop while holding on patiently for that Deadmau5 reveal because really, we’re all buying it anyway.
