Attention Fortnite fanatics or should I say, casuals: The FNCS Major 3 Finals are to start off during the weekend, and with so much recent timed hype dropped by Epic, let’s give larger-than-life status to this event. Prizes? Free cosmetic items.
First of all, we can start by breaking down the schedule for time zones are quite messy and, you know, certain to think about not missing any moment of this show. Saturday: For EU region, it is 3:30 PM CEST, while for NAC, it is 4:30 PM ET (let me explain for the uninitiated – North America Central). Sunday sorts these things out a little bit different with a start for EU region at 4:45 PM CEST, and for NAC at 5:45 PM ET. Now, set your alarms right: Mark the calendars, pop in a couple of energy drinks or two, because this is going to be ferocious.
Big news: the FNCS Charger Back Bling expires imminently. The one slick cosmetic you might’ve never grabbed before now is its own opportunity for acquisition. Watch for 60 minutes on Twitch the FNCS broadcast and claim it. No codes, no secret handshake, just chilling vibes from fellow viewers.
Hold on just a sec because, of course, it’s drama; let’s dig into the responses first. Fortnite Competitive Twitter posted a tweet, and players immediately began venting their anger. Most controversially–no OCE (Oceania) in the broadcast lineup.
User @oce_dex: “And holding down OCE over here,” linking to his own stream. And the replies keep flowing from half-support to half-chaos. @AngelFN_BR: “@FNCompetitive always forgetting west fuck you guys it’s because i run it and it’s too boring to always win,” and okay, confidence is key, I guess. Others, like @bigger_Bigmac, straight-up asked, “What bout oce,” because apparently, Epic’s selective amnesia strikes again.
Then came the shoutout to the Middle East–@LEGEND1FN declared, “finaly middle east get a broadcast,” while @nixiefn dished with, “Middle East but no fucking west?” The regional beef is real, people.
Moving onto technical complaints: “@FNCompetitive Can you fix the damn cup?!?!!?” pleaded @vic_raptor, citing ranked cup issues. Meanwhile, @forzaauto4 added, “so when are the ranked cups gonna get fixed?” because what competing gaming really needs is broken features, right?
More random stuff to come- @Orkunfn is screaming in all caps about wanting the FNCS Picaxe 1.0; this dude has been crying for it since May, and honestly, cool mood.
So the FNCS Major 3 Finals are shaping up for a wild ride: high-stakes gameplay, regional rivalries, and a free backbling for anyone who watches. Will OCE ever be granted the respect it deserves? Will ranked cups ever get fixed? TBD. But for sure, one thing I can say is that these streams this weekend are an absolute must-watch for every die-hard Fortnite fan.
Remember to hydrate during matches and maybe try your best not to throw your controller when someone steals your elim. See you in the lobby!
